Cause and Effect in Somalia

It almost makes me want to laugh; reminds me of the late '80s when Gulf emirates wanted the U.S. to fly flags and guard tankers in the Gulf. U.S. said no, Gulf countries asked Russians who said yeah, then U.S. got all flabbergasted and said, yeah, yeah, we'll do it!

Funny how certain actions bring a reaction, hmmm?

Cause

"Chinese Navy appears set for job beyond Pacific; Officials point to a role in Gulf of Aden" by Mark McDonald, New York Times | December 18, 2008

HONG KONG - In what would be the first active deployment of its warships beyond the Pacific, China appears set to send naval vessels to help in the fight against hijackers in the pirate-infested Gulf of Aden.

A vice foreign minister and a leading naval strategist were quoted in Chinese state media yesterday as saying that Beijing was close to mounting a naval mission in the gulf.

"China is seriously considering sending naval ships to the Gulf of Aden and waters off the Somali coast for escorting operations in the near future," said the Foreign Ministry official, He Yafei, quoted by Xinhua, the official Chinese news agency. His remarks came at a ministerial meeting of the UN Security Council.

Li Jie, a military strategist and naval expert, told the state-run China Daily newspaper that cooperating with a multinational force operating against East African pirates would be a "very good opportunity" for the Chinese Navy.

"Apart from fighting pirates," he said, "another key goal is to register the presence of the Chinese Navy."

To help combat the dramatic rise of increasingly brazen pirate attacks in the gulf, the European Union deployed its first-ever naval mission this month, a six-ship flotilla. The EU operation, code-named Atalanta, joined other navies already patrolling there, including those from the United States, Russia, and India....

SAN'A, Yemen - An international antipiracy force thwarted the attempted takeover of a Chinese cargo ship off the Somali coast yesterday, sending attack helicopters that fired on the bandits and forced them to abandon the ship they had boarded.

Gee, the Chinese say they are coming to help, and ALL of a SUDDEN, the West starts BUSTING THEIR OWN AGENTS!!!! What a COINCIDENCE, huh?

In another blow to the region's thriving piracy trade, the Indian Navy handed over 23 pirates it caught at sea to authorities in Yemen....

Pffffft!

And check out this "style" of "journalism":

Somali pirates, spurred by widespread poverty in their homeland, have hijacked more than 40 vessels off their country's coastline this year....

Oh, now I KNOW they are OUR AGENTS!!! Yup, they are NOT TERRORISTS, NOT MILITANTS, NOT BANDITS, etc!! They are simply POOR SOMALIS who have turned to piracy!!! Gimme a fucking break, will ya?

Now, a few things the Zionist-controlled AmeriKan MSM is not telling you:

"Some US officials fear the cargo aboard the MV Faina, which was seized by pirates Thursday, could end up in the hands of Al Qaeda-linked militants in Somalia.... But US officials, arms analysts, and maritime officials say the more likely original destination was southern Sudan, where the former rebel group Sudan Peoples' Liberation Movement, now governs an autonomous region...."

"Vadim Alperin was once quoted to be a "Mossad brother" running a number of clandestine front companies including one Kenyan Meat export company enjoying "good trade" with middle eastern countries covertly used for gathering intelligence from countries such as Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia"
