Reducing the Hindu Kush to Rubble

The notes on my paper as I read the article kept repeating the same thing:

"No, no, no, no, no!"

I'm tired of my government delivering MASS-MURDER by AIR MAIL to INNOCENT MEN, WOMEN, and CHILDREN who NEVER DID ANYTHING TO US!!!

9/11 an INSIDE JOB and the LIES NEED TO STOP!!!!!!

"Air Force beefing up Mideast mission; Strategy shifts to Afghanistan" by Bryan Bender, Globe Staff | December 23, 2008

WASHINGTON - The Air Force is preparing for an expanded Middle East mission, transporting fighting units and supplies, increasing surveillance flights, and beefing up a network of air bases across the region as US military strategy shifts from Iraq to Afghanistan, according to Pentagon officials....

The strategic shift next year will have to be choreographed in large part by the Air Force, which has begun identifying the mix of additional fighter jets, bombers, cargo aircraft, and intelligence units needed to pull off what is shaping up to be the most complex redeployment of US military forces in decades, according to top commanders.

"It's like a chess game," Lieutenant General Gary L. North, commander of US air forces in the Middle East, told the Globe in an interview on Saturday. "It is a work of art."

Yup, MASS-MURDER by AIR BOMB and reducing a region to rubble is an ART FORM!!!

North, the senior Air Force officer at the US Central Command, said planners are at work determining what it will take to bring troops home from Iraq while keeping watch over potential security threats there and assisting Iraqi government forces. At the same time, he said the service will have to support a much larger US presence in landlocked Afghanistan, where combat units rely on the Air Force to resupply them by air, evacuate their wounded by helicopter, provide intelligence from spy planes, pilotless drones, and satellites - and to bomb targets on the ground....

All because the "insurgents, militants, Taliban" what have you are cutting off the land lines! So HOW MUCH is this EXERCISE in MASS-MURDER and POLLUTION going to cost you, taxpayers? You tapped out yet?

About 27,000 Air Force personnel are stationed in the Middle East region, including about 5,000 on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, some of whom are carrying out nontraditional missions as convoy security.

Air Force on the GROUND? Can you say DRAFT, kids? Don't think so, huh?

They operate from a network of bases that stretch from the Persian Gulf to Central Asia. The Air Force has at least five air bases inside Iraq, one in Afghanistan, one in Kyrgyzstan, and several others in Qatar, Kuwait, and surrounding countries. No new bases are envisioned....

An Air Force official in Washington who asked not to be identified said plans are also underway to increase the number of unmanned aerial vehicles stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, as part of the troop shift....

More MASS SLAUGHTER dieted from a computer console in Las Vegas.

Several military specialists said they believe that the Air Force role in carrying out the Obama strategy is likely to be significant, especially if the violence flares in Iraq after the reduction of American troops there. "I think we are in for a long run of the Air Force in Iraq," said retired Air Force General Merrill McPeak, a former Air Force chief of staff and co-chairman of Obama's presidential campaign, who said the Air Force will need to do far more than "fly stuff out" of Iraq.

"No, no, no, no, no!"

That is CHANGE, 'bamer?

"The new president says he wants to pull the ground combat units out. I think he can do that, but it is not clear to me we can leave the Iraqi armed forces without support." Indeed, there will be a sizable need to back up the Iraqi military, which remains heavily dependent on the United States, according to McPeak and another former top commander.

Translation: We ain't leaving, and there will be a draft!

The Iraqi Air Force "is minimal. Their Navy's minimal. And their ability to get intelligence from technical means, like we do now, they just don't have," said retired Admiral William "Fox" Fallon, who retired earlier this year as chief of US Central Command and is now a fellow at MIT. "And so we're going to have to provide that stuff."

McPeak said the Air Force will be required to provide air and communications support for US advisers and Iraqi troops left behind. John Pike, a military specialist at Global Security.org, a think tank in Alexandria, Va., agreed.

"If things were to fall apart, the thing that could be ratcheted up quickly is American airpower," he said. "The Air Force could probably double or triple what they have over there in a week's notice."

Please no; stop killing them for no reason other than oil, empire, and Israel!

Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, "you are going to have fly everything in," McPeak said in an interview. "The boat doesn't dock in Afghanistan."

And HOW MANY MORE INNOCENTS (ours and theirs) must DIE for a LIE?
