"Democrats ready to put the gloves on" by Stephanie Ebbert, Globe Staff | June 5, 2010
WORCESTER — Despite widespread voter anxiety and anti-establishment frustration that is fueling Republican hopes for a resurgence in Massachusetts, Bay State Democrats opened their state convention here last night with a clear signal that they are up for a fight.
Addressing a thin crowd of delegates beginning to assemble at the DCU Center for today’s main events, Democratic politicians rejected blame for the dim mood of the electorate, saying they represent the party that will offer solutions for the economy and other problems facing the state.
Yeah, NEVER MIND that they have CONTROLLED THIS STATE FOREVER!!
That is WHY WE HAVE the PROBLEMS!!!!!!!
And on the national level, Democrats are a COLOSSAL FAILURE!
We ELECTED THEM to END the DAMN WARS and counter Bush and the Repuglicans and they have ONLY ADVANCED the AGENDA because WE NOW KNOW WHO CONTROLS the AGENDA for BOTH PARTIES!
ZIONI$T CA$H and and threat$ from AIPAC!
Don't believe me?

“Let others talk about all that they are against,’’ said Attorney General Martha Coakley, who accepted the party’s nomination for a second term, just months after losing a prized US Senate seat to Republican Scott Brown. “This election is a great opportunity for us as Democrats to declare what we are for.’’
We know who you are for, first and foremost.
Coakley, who has no opponent for reelection, did not speak directly to the elephant in the DCU Center: her stunning January loss of the US Senate seat long held by Edward M. Kennedy. But she alluded to it as she described the seismic shift in voters’ mood since the Democrats’ convention here four years ago.
“It was a time of great promise and great hope,’’ Coakley said, pointing to the Democratic victories for governor and president in the intervening years. Since then, she said, “A difficult economy has left people across our commonwealth and our country with a great sense of uncertainty, a great sense of anxiety, and yes, a great sense of anger. And no one knows that better than I do.
“The anger that people are feeling is real and it is understandable,’’ Coakley continued. “We’ve experienced job loss, home foreclosures, loss of retirement savings. We’ve seen Wall Street bailed out for their epic failures with our money and later argue whether their bonuses should be seven figures or eight. Families are pressed from all sides, working harder than ever just to tread water. People see all this happening in their lives and want to know, who is standing up for us? Who is looking out for our interests? They want government to represent the public interests, not special interests.’’
You can pull your head out of the s*** pile now, Martha, because Democrats have proved these last four years they are not about the people and our interests.
Indeed, it was clear last night that leading Democrats seem intent on showing voters that they are listening to a restless public.
No they are not!!
They are listening to the $ame old $pecial intere$t$ that kick$ back awarded tax loot a$ campaign contribution$!
Coakley, who was faulted for not doing enough retail politicking in her campaign for Senate as Brown won over the discontented grass roots, said she is committed to earning delegates’ votes, and that she will be out on the trail campaigning for Democratic colleagues who face competition in the fall....

Probably a good thing she didn't win; she would have been overwhelmed by the gravitas of the position down there.
