No Change in Gaza

All an Israeli public relations effort so the war-criminal siege will recede from the headlines.

"Back Home: Realties in Gaza‏

Gaza, June 21 (Pal Telegraph – By Sameh A. Habeeb)

It has been over a year and 4 months since I left Gaza early in 2009. I’m back today. Nothing has changed on the ground. Destroyed houses, roads, basic utilities and lack of infrastructure are still existing or “implanted” on Gaza roads. Your way to central Gaza city from Rafah is a bit strange as it’s very dusty and smelly from Egyptian fuel and oils. It is a pity that the roads of Gaza are the same as busy and environmentally contaminated roads in Cairo or China....

"Israel easing but not ending Gaza blockade; White House lauds move on eve of meeting" by Karin Laub, Associated Press | July 6, 2010

KEREM SHALOM CROSSING, Israel — Israel is softening its blockade of Hamas-ruled Gaza to allow in virtually all consumer goods, but the new rules are unlikely to restore the territory’s devastated economy or allow rebuilding of all that was destroyed in last year’s war.

Wasn't much of "war." More like a WAR CRIME!!

The White House welcomed the changes that were announced yesterday as the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, flew to Washington for a meeting with President Obama. International Mideast envoy Tony Blair said Israel’s measures “should have a dramatic influence on the daily lives of the people of Gaza and on the private sector.’’

Look at all the
PoS in one paragraph.

The new blockade rules follow an international outcry after a deadly Israeli raid on a blockade-busting flotilla at the end of May.

Turkey for the first time threatened yesterday to sever its diplomatic ties with Israel unless it apologizes for the flotilla raid or accepts an international commission’s investigation of the encounter, which left nine activists dead.

The revised rules will improve Gazans’ access to goods from household cleaners to timber, but Israel will continue to ban most travel and exports from Gaza and restrict the import of desperately needed construction materials.

Gaza business leaders and rights activists said the measures are far short of what Gaza needs, and that the only active cargo crossing, Kerem Shalom, may not be large enough to bring in all the goods now permitted.

Israeli officials said the remaining restrictions, including on exports, are essential for maintaining security.

Yeah, he got that right.

Tired of the manipulations, tired of the lies, tired of the looting, and tired of the butchery!

Goods dropped off yesterday at Kerem Shalom included washing machines, which were previously banned from import.

I don't know HOW they were going to RUN 'EM with NO POWER, but.... the flimsy metal could make a bomb, huh?

So Palestinians must walk around in unwashed clothes -- not that washing them in the polluted water would be any better!

Aid supplies that had been transported on the intercepted flotilla also found their way to the crossing, including previously banned mattresses.

You know, Palestinians might hide under them when the Israeli missiles come a-callin'!

Israel started restricting movement of people and goods in and out of Gaza after the 2006 capture of an Israeli soldier, Sergeant Gilad Schalit, by Hamas-allied militants. A year later, when Hamas overran Gaza, Israel — backed by Egypt — imposed a fuller closure, allowing in only a few dozen types of humanitarian goods like basic foods and medicine.

They WON a LEGITIMATE ELECTION, and that is ANOTHER REPEATED and REPEATED LIE when the s*** MSM KNOWS BETTER!

See:

"Hamas overwhelmingly won Palestinian Parliament elections in 2006....

Hamas won Palestinian parliamentary elections in early 2006....

In 2006, Hamas won Palestinian legislative elections"

Yup, the AmeriKan MSM KNOWS THEY WON but keeps repeating the same garbage!

Btw, Hamas foiled a COUP ATTEMPT!!!!

Thanks again for the REPEATED OMISSIONS and LIES, MSM!

Therefore, they are NOT TO BE BELIEVED on any matter -- especially ALL THINGS ISRAEL!!!!

Yeah, I wondered what I was reading.

Israel says it will lift the blockade if Hamas releases the soldier, recognizes Israel, and renounces violence.

Always an IF or a BUT with them.

So WHEN is the WAR-CRIMINAL STATE going to RENOUNCE VIOLENCE?

Hamas, which is considered a terror organization by the United States, Israel, and the European Union, has rejected those terms....

I consider those last three entities the terrorists; they have KILLED FAR MORE PEOPLE on the basis of UNHOLY LIES!

What could be more TERRIFYING that that?

Israel published a list of goods it will continue to ban from Gaza, with everything else now permitted.

The banned items include weapons and “dual use’’ goods Israel fears might be diverted by Gaza militants for military purposes, such as fertilizers, gas tanks, drilling equipment, and water disinfectant.

Palestinians must LOVE that DIRTY WATER, huh?

Yup, and they CAN'T GROW any FOOD, either -- because the CHEMICALS in those things COULD BE USED in a BOMB!

Thus the PALESTINIAN PEOPLE must SUFFER COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT -- another Israeli war crime!!!!!

I hate to say it, but AmeriKans sure are used to eating Zionist s***.

Construction materials such as cement, steel cables, and concrete blocks will be permitted into Gaza only for projects supervised by international aid agencies.

Which makes you wonder who were those masked men?

The internationally funded construction of schools, sewage-treatment plants, and housing projects in Gaza has largely been on hold since 2006.

Yeah, DESPERATELY NEEDED!
