"Al-CIA-Duh" Expanding Operations in East Africa

I'm just wonder why "CIA-Duh" picked the wrong country when they had a month's worth of chances.

"With twin bombings in Uganda, a new Al Qaeda threat emerges" by Max Delany, Associated Press | July 13, 2010

KAMPALA, Uganda — East Africa saw the emergence of a new international terrorist group yesterday, as Somalia’s most dangerous Al Qaeda-linked militia claimed responsibility for the twin bombings in Uganda that killed 74 people during the World Cup.

The claim by al-Shabab, whose fighters are trained by militant veterans of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, resets the security equation in East Africa and has broader implications worldwide.

PFFFFT!

"The video showed the Shabab militia in training, leaping over piles of sandbags, crawling on the ground, and shooting at targets. Bearded trainers, who were white, could be seen moving among the Somalis"

Yup, your CIA TRAINERS caught ON FILM!

The group in the past has recruited Somali-Americans to carry out suicide bombings in Mogadishu.

A California aid group said yesterday that one of its American workers was among the dead. Ugandan officials said 60 Ugandans, nine Ethiopians or Eritreans, one Irish woman, and one Asian were also killed. Two people could not be identified....

Al-Shabab, an ultraconservative Islamic group that has drawn comparisons to the Taliban, has long threatened to attack outside of Somalia’s borders, but the bombings late Sunday are the first time the group has done so.

“We warned Uganda not to deploy troops to Somalia; they ignored us,’’ said Sheik Ali Mohamud Rage, al-Shabab’s spokesman. “We warned them to stop massacring our people, and they ignored that. The explosions in Kampala were only a minor message to them. . . . We will target them everywhere if Uganda does not withdraw from our land.’’

Rage said a second country with peacekeeping forces in Mogadishu — Burundi — could soon face attacks. Fighting in Mogadishu between militants and Somali troops or African Union peacekeepers frequently kills civilians.

Not frequently reported here, however.

The attacks outside Somalia represent a dangerous new step in al-Shabab’s increasingly militant path and raise questions about its future plans.

The US State Department has declared al-Shabab a terrorist organization. Other neighboring nations — Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia, along with Burundi — may also face new attacks, analysts say.

Despite the threats, the army spokesman for Uganda, an overwhelmingly Christian nation, said the county would not withdraw.

Oh, now WHO would want to pit MUSLIMS against CHRISTIANS!?

Wouldn't "Al-CIA-Duh" like that?

“Al-Shabab is the reason why we should stay in Somalia,’’ said Lieutenant Colonel Felix Kulaigye. “We have to pacify Somalia.’’

In Washington, President Obama spoke with President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda yesterday to express his condolences for the loss of life in the bombings. Obama offered to provide any support or assistance needed in Uganda, said White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.

Sniff, sniff....

Gibbs said that, while the FBI is assisting in the ongoing investigation, the US believes that there is “no clearer signal of the hateful motives of terrorists than was sent yesterday.’’

Why is the FBI -- a DOMESTIC AGENCY -- assisting in Uganda?

And the AGENDA-PUSHING ASPECT of this is SO CLEAR!

As the death toll rose to 74, investigators yesterday combed through the blast sites: an outdoor screening at a rugby club and an Ethiopian restaurant. Ethiopia is a nation despised by al-Shabab.

Another predominately Christian nation that receives hardly any press or criticism for a coup-supporting invasion in 2006 or its own war crimes.

You see?

As long as you serve Western interests starving and oppressed people do not matter.

Invisible Children, a San Diego-based aid group that helps child soldiers, identified the dead American as one of its workers, Nate Henn, who was killed on the rugby field when he was hit by shrapnel. Henn, 25, was a native of Wilmington, Del.

Ours or theirs?

After a while the double-game deceptions become....

Analysts have long feared that al-Shabab was turning increasingly violent. The International Crisis Group, an independent organization that works to prevent conflict, said in May that if foreign fighters’ influence grew inside al-Shabab, the group’s “rapid transformation into a wholly Al Qaeda franchise might become irreversible. That could cause havoc even well beyond Somalia’s borders, and the [Somali government] and the international community cannot choose to be bystanders.’’

But somehow I don't think the PtB will frame Somalis for the next 9/11 event.

Why waste it when Iran and Pakistan are out there and vital world shipping lanes are already occupied due to pirates?

And when the Glob starts editorializing you better put on your waders:

"Africa must fight Islamic terror

Sometimes the West, in its eagerness to connect atrocities committed in the name of Islamic fundamentalism to anti-Western attitudes, obscures this fact.

I'm also tired of a lying, deceitful, PoS pot paper hollering kettle!

Since Sept. 11, 2001, there has been an understandable tendency to define Al Qaeda and its ilk primarily as enemies of the American way of life. They are that, but they are also waging war against everyone who stands in their way of imposing a Taliban-style religious dictatorship that would outlaw music, dancing, and sporting events such as the World Cup.

So which "Al-CIA-Duh" would that be, huh?

The made-up "Al-CIA-Duh?"

Or the "Al-CIA-Duh" CREATION for the COURTROOM!?

Oh, AmeriKa's MSM KNOWS ALL ABOUT and yet STILL PUSHES the CHARADE, huh?

The lesson from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan is that America is most resented where it most takes over the fight against Al Qaeda....

The United States must not make resistance to Al Qaeda any more of an American enterprise than it already is....

Yup, and once you realize that the NEWSPAPER will NEVER LOOK the SAME AGAIN!

That conflict is, and should remain, Somalia’s struggle. To the extent it involves other players, they should be Somalia’s African neighbors.

And what do you know? They got somebody!

"Suspect arrested in Uganda bombings" by Associated Press | July 17, 2010

NAIROBI — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the Uganda bomb attacks that killed 76 people watching the World Cup final on television, an official said yesterday.

The suspect was arrested at a police checkpoint Wednesday near the Kenya-Somalia border, Northeastern Provincial Commissioner James ole Seriani said.

The man said he supported Somalia’s Al Qaeda linked group, al-Shabab, despite his claim to be a member of the Ugandan army, according to investigators....

Pfft!

No reason he can't be both, right?

And CUI BONO?

"Uganda leader exhorts Africa to fight terror" by Associated Press | July 26, 2010

KAMPALA, Uganda — US Attorney General Eric Holder yesterday pledged continued support for African peacekeeping efforts in war-torn Somalia, as Uganda’s president urged African leaders to unite against terrorism.

When CIA assets and agents quit causing it....

President Yoweri Museveni told 35 heads of state who convened in Uganda’s capital for an African Union summit that the continent needs to step up its efforts against terror.

Gee, "CIA-Duh" f***ed up the timing again, huh?

If they only waited another two weeks!

“Let us work in concert to sweep [terrorists] out of Africa,’’ he said, just weeks after Somali militants set off deadly twin bombings in Uganda.

Did you expel the Israeli ambassador?

The July 11 bombings in Kampala were claimed by an Al Qaeda-linked militant group in Somalia....

Holder said the United States will continue to support AU peacekeeping efforts in Somalia.

The AU mission in Somalia has about 6,000 troops from Uganda and Burundi, but the force is expected to rise after Guinea and Djibouti pledged additional forces.

Holder condemned the bombings in Uganda and said a forensic team from the FBI is helping Ugandan authorities with the investigation.

So what "evidence" are they planting?
