The Boston Globe's Primary Concerns: Palin Posters

Not me. I don't have a Facebook account and I hate frauds.

"Two N.H. lawmakers in hot water over Facebook posts about Palin

CONCORD, N.H. — A Democrat who quipped on Facebook about Sarah Palin’s death quit the state Legislature yesterday and apologized for his remarks.

Representative Timothy Horrigan of Durham delivered a letter of resignation to the House speaker and added he was discontinuing his reelection campaign.

Horrigan had posted Wednesday that a “dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one’’ and said she “is all about her myth & if she was dead she cdn’t commit any more gaffes.’’

Yesterday, he apologized.

“She is, as far as I know, not a bad person at all — and certainly she deserves to live a long and happy life,’’ Horrigan wrote on Facebook.

Horrigan responded appropriately by resigning, Democratic Party chairman Raymond Buckley said.

“His comments were inappropriate and do not reflect the views of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. As an elected official, this type of rhetoric is out of line,’’ said Buckley.

What you come to realize in AmeriKa is that there are a**holes on each side, and that a lot of this is staged distraction my the same morons running the place.

That's why the sanctimony of Democrats bothers me.

Ryan Williams, spokesman for the state Republican Party, condemned the remarks as “sick, twisted, and disgusting.’’

Another New Hampshire Democrat was also criticized this week for a Facebook comment about Palin.

Keith Halloran, a House candidate from Rindge, apologized yesterday for posting a death wish for Palin on Facebook.

You never see me wishing somebody dead here.

Will I stand in the way of the collective will of the people should it come to that with our rulers and their string-pullers?

No.

They had plenty of warning and plenty of time to turn around and they continued to ignore and mistreat them.

No sympathy for war criminals, looters, or liars.

Halloran had commented Tuesday in response to a Republican lawmaker’s post about the plane crash that killed former Alaska senator Ted Stevens.

Maybe you might want to look into that a little more, MSM?

When the lawmaker expressed disappointment that some news accounts of Stevens’s death focused on negative aspects of his career, Halloran responded: “Just wish Sarah and Levy were on board,’’ an apparent reference to Palin and her daughter’s former boyfriend, Levi Johnston.

Seems to be wearing off, huh?

Good thing NPR is on the case.

After the leaders of both political parties denounced his comment, Halloran posted an apology on his Facebook page, saying he wishes the best for Palin, Johnston, and their families.
