"Israel insists on talks without preconditions" by Karin Laub, Associated Press | August 16, 2010
RAMALLAH, West Bank — Israel will not accept conditions for resuming direct negotiations with the Palestinians, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and top Cabinet ministers affirmed in a meeting late yesterday, reflecting a hard line just as invitations to the talks appeared to be near.
The Palestinians want the framework and agenda of negotiations worked out ahead of time.
Under an emerging compromise, the so-called Quartet of Mideast mediators — the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, and Russia — was expected to issue an invitation for direct talks that would list underlying principles and a time frame. However, Netanyahu and his inner circle fear that a Quartet statement would be a “fig leaf for Palestinian preconditions,’’ said an official in Netanyahu’s office who spoke on condition of anonymity because no government statement was made.

That SURE LOOKS like a PRECONDITION to me!

In a meeting late yesterday, the prime minister and his top ministers decided to hold out for a separate invitation from the United States without preconditions, the official said.
Chutzpah isn't even a strong enough word.
It was not clear whether the United States plans to issue such a separate invitation....
Well, what does Israel want?
Then that is what we will do.
In a sign of a calming atmosphere, Israeli army cranes yesterday began removing a concrete barrier that shielded a Jewish neighborhood bordering the West Bank from gunfire.
The Israeli military erected the 600-yard concrete barrier nine years ago on the outskirts of the Gilo neighborhood in southern Jerusalem because of repeated Palestinian shootings from the West Bank town of Beit Jalla.
The barrier is being taken down over the next two weeks because of a reduced security threat and improved coordination between Israeli and West Bank security forces, the Israeli military said....
And it is going to be put back up where?

"Israel pushes for new West Bank road" by Associated Press | August 17, 2010
JERUSALEM — The Israeli government said yesterday it is pressing ahead with plans for a new road to a large West Bank settlement, drawing swift Palestinian condemnation.
Also yesterday, a Palestinian militant was killed in a clash with Israeli forces on the Gaza border. The Israeli military said soldiers opened fire on Palestinians planting explosives, killing one.
No one believes Israel or their mouthpiece medias anymore.
Border clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian militants trying to infiltrate or plant bombs are relatively common.
Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said the plan to build a new West Bank highway sabotages US efforts to restart direct Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
That's what was intended, yup.
Palestinians demand a halt to all Israeli building in the West Bank before they will resume direct peace talks.
Notice the subtle difference in descriptions between the two sides?
Construction, such as the road, would take place on land the Palestinians desire for a future state and, from their point of view, cements the Israeli presence in the West Bank....
And ONCE ISRAEL TAKES it they ain't giving it back!
While visiting Greece yesterday, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, showed no sign of backing down from his insistence that there be no preconditions, such as a timeline or agenda, before direct talks can begin — a demand of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas....
Yeah, NO PALESTINIAN preconditions.
HIS are JUST FINE!

"Israel responsible for Arab girl’s death" by Associated Press | August 18, 2010
In my mind they are RESPONSIBLE for them ALL!!
JERUSALEM — A Jerusalem court has ruled the Israeli state was responsible for the death of a 10-year-old Palestinian girl killed by gunfire three years ago as she stood some distance from a demonstration.
The case gained wide attention because the girl’s father, Basam Aramin, was a Palestinian militant who became an advocate for Israeli-Palestinian coexistence.
I once believed it was possible; however, given the conduct of Israel it is time for them to return from whence they came.
That is not to say Jews can not live there. Plenty of Jews lived and do live in peace with Palestinians. It will be up to them to decide.
He helped found Combatants for Peace, a group of former Israeli and Palestinian fighters who work for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The problem lies in Tel Aviv.
Abir Aramin was critically wounded in January 2007 as Israeli border police were dispersing a demonstration of rock-throwing youths in the village of Anata, north of Jerusalem.
Is Palestine Kashmir?
The girl was hit by a rubber-coated bullet.
No mention of whether that is what the Indians used to mow down Muslims.
She died two days later in a Jerusalem hospital.
Police initially said she was killed by a stray rock....
Notice how ISRAEL ALWAYS LIES like the DEVIL right out of the box?

Oh, when will their suffering end?
