Globe Out on Parole

I bought a copy today when I said I would not.

"Brother of officer’s killer is indicted; Allegedly helped plan fateful robbery" by Milton J. Valencia, Globe Staff / April 1, 2011

WOBURN — The younger brother of Domenic Cinelli, the career criminal who shot and killed a Woburn police officer during a Christmas weekend robbery, was charged yesterday in connection with the slaying and heist, as prosecutors provided new details in a case that prompted sweeping changes in state parole policy.

Arthur Cinelli, 50, of Newburyport, a convicted thief who is being held in a federal prison in New Hampshire on unrelated drug charges, allegedly helped his brother plan the heist by sending text messages before the crime. A Middlesex grand jury indicted him yesterday on charges of conspiracy to commit masked armed robbery and being an accessory before the fact to masked armed robbery. He will be arraigned in Superior Court in Woburn in the coming weeks.

There are no conspiracies accept 19 Arabs from the caves of Afghanis.... oh, never mind.

District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. said yesterday that the text messages “are a chilling snapshot of the planning and the preparation of this masked armed robbery.’’

Strange how they never say that about a government and mouthpiece media that lies its ways into wars that kill millions just to steal others resources.

In lengthy letters he sent to the Globe recently, Arthur Cinelli proclaimed his innocence in the heist.

Two other men — Scott Hanright, 19, and Kevin Dingwell, 51, both of Wakefield — were charged in connection with the robbery in December, and they were indicted yesterday on more serious charges....

Authorities say that the 60-year-old Officer John Maguire was fatally wounded by Domenic Cinelli in the minutes after Cinelli robbed a Kohl’s department store jewelry section at gunpoint on Dec. 26, at the height of a blinding snowstorm. Maguire was able to fire back and killed Cinelli....
