Knitting You a Front Page Story

And they wonder why circulation is dropping like a stone?

Watch your streets — knitters are on the loose

The South End Knitters have wrapped colorful rectangles of knitting around lampposts, hung mittens from trees, snaked a knit flower vine around a bike rack, tagged a dog park fence with knitted bugs, and knit cozies for metal posts. They do it for sheer whimsy of it.   

That's usually why I buy a Globe when I grab my morning coffee.
