"Delta Air Lines Inc. says it will stop sending US calls to a call center in South Africa, as it continues to shift that work back to the United States....

Well, why was it sent there in the fir$t place?

"Zimbabwe suspects say they were tortured" by Associated Press / June 4, 2011

HARARE, Zimbabwe — Twelve battered suspects accused of killing a police inspector appeared in court yesterday, and their lawyer said they were tortured continuously by police in jail.

I would comment; however, I am a citizen of a government that tortures and thus have no standing.

The group shuffled into the courthouse limping and handcuffed in pairs. Eight men and four women had deep lacerations and welts on their legs and arms. They lifted their clothing to show other wounds. Several had swollen faces and bloodshot eyes....

Were they waterboarded?

I remember at one point there was a worsening cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe; however, that seems to have washed away with the coverage.

"Tunisia’s fledgling experiment with democracy is being closely watched around the world because the popular uprising in the North African country sparked pro-democracy revolts around the Middle East....

Then how come I rarely see anything about Tunisia in my paper anymore?

Next day update:

"Clinton yesterday also visited a women’s cooperative farm, where she was cheered by workers who will benefit from the Obama administration’s plans to pump $70 million into Tanzania’s agriculture sector over the next two years....

Not that I'm against Tunisian women; however, I could use about a million of that American tax loot. How about you, reader?

Amazing how that slides right into the next series of articles even a day later, huh?

"An explosion yesterday in the home of Somalia’s interior minister killed him and a woman suspected of being a bomber as violent demonstrations swept the capital....

And.... ???

"The Al Qaeda mastermind behind the 1998 bombings of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania was killed this week at a security checkpoint in Mogadishu by Somali forces who did not immediately realize they had killed the most-wanted man in East Africa, officials said yesterday....

Great, we got another "CIA-Duh" cut out.

Can we come home now?

I notice the Congo hasn't gotten a call recently.
