The Fisch That Got Away

I guess it would look to obvious and feed stereotypes; better to run things through front men.

"Israeli economist ruled out for IMF" by Jack Ewing, New York Times / June 15, 2011

NEW YORK —Stanley Fischer, the governor of the Bank of Israel, criticized the IMF for refusing to change its rules....

Fischer, a citizen of the United States and Israel, is a former vice chairman of Citigroup and is credited with stabilizing the Israeli currency and steering the country through the financial crisis. He probably would have faced opposition from Arab countries....

Dual Israeli national again.
