LONDON — UPS said yesterday that its service in Britain had not returned to normal, days after it was ordered to stop moving air cargo through some of its UK facilities because of security flaws....
Spokeswoman Susan Rosenberg said that UPS was working with the government to fix the problems and hoped to have normal service restored by today.
Air cargo security has been under scrutiny since bombs disguised in toner cartridges were sent on flights from Yemen in October. One was discovered at a UPS depot in England.
