Occupation Iraq: "Al-CIA-Duh" Comeback

Just as we were about to hit the door!

Then WhyTF are Brennan and Panetta running around saying they are on the run, blah, blah, blah?

But they could attack anywhere, at anytime, the US government warns.

I don't know about you, readers, but I'm tired of being jerked around by the intelligence agencies and their media mouthpieces.

"Suicide bomber kills 29 praying in Iraq mosque" August 29, 2011|By Lara Jakes, Associated Press

BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber blew himself up inside Baghdad’s largest Sunni mosque last night, killing 29 people during prayers in a shocking strike on a place of worship similar to the one that brought Iraq to the brink of civil war five years ago....

No group immediately claimed responsibility, but suicide attacks generally are a hallmark of Al Qaeda, which is dominated by Sunnis. Intelligence officials have speculated that Al Qaeda will do almost anything to re-ignite sectarian violence, but the group recently had focused on attacking Iraqi security forces and the government to prove how unstable Iraq remains....

That the bomber detonated his explosives vest inside the mosque is particularly alarming, as it is reminiscent of a 2006 attack on a Shi’ite shrine in the Sunni city of Samarra that fueled widespread violence and nearly ignited a nationwide civil war. In that strike, Sunni militants planted bombs around the Samarra shrine, destroying its signature gold dome and badly damaging the rest of the structure....

Sure looks like an intelligence operation to me.

Probably not this because accidents do happen:

"Fiery bus collision with car kills 27

SULAIMANIYAH - A bus carrying vacationing families through northern Iraq collided head-on with a car and burst into flames yesterday, killing all 24 people trapped on the bus and three people in the car, police said. The bus was carrying vacationing families with children from Baghdad to the northern city of Irbil. It collided with the car on a two-lane road about 18 miles northwest of Kirkuk."

Then WE CAN LEAVE ON SCHEDULE, right?!!

NOPE!

"Gun attack on minibus kills 9 in Iraq" by Michael S. Schmidt, New York Times / September 7, 2011

BAGHDAD - Insurgents attacked a minibus filled with Iraqi soldiers in Anbar Province yesterday, killing all nine people aboard in a storm of gunfire, another episode in a wave of violence that has roiled Iraq in recent weeks.

Then why has my newspaper hardly reported it?

Attacks across the country, particularly in the western province of Anbar, have increased significantly as insurgents have deployed deadly means including ambushes, improvised explosive devices, and car bombs to kill civilians and Iraqi security forces.

The recent increase has raised fears about a resurgence of Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, which once controlled large areas of Anbar and said in August that it would conduct 100 attacks to avenge the killing of Osama bin Laden....

The US military’s spokesman in Iraq, Major General Jeffrey Buchanan, said in a recent e-mail that Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, also known as Al Qaeda in Iraq, had been very active in the past few weeks after having been significantly weakened at all levels by two years of counterterrorism operations.

So when we were told they had been beaten back that was a lie, huh?  Or have their case handlers simply stepped on the pedal again?

Al Qaeda in Iraq “has never changed its desire to drive a wedge between the people and government of Iraq,’’ he added. “It conducts high-profile attacks to discredit the Iraqi security forces and to undermine the government’s legitimacy.’’

"Still, one political analyst said he saw the attacks as a calculated bid to frighten the Iraqis into asking the American forces to stay behind, because if they completely withdraw, Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia will have lost its rationale for existing."

I thought they were trying to drive us out so they could take over, blah, blah, blah.

And where in the world could these "terrorists" be coming from?

"35 terror suspects dig out of Iraqi prison" September 02, 2011|Associated Press

BAGHDAD - Thirty-five Iraqi terror suspects tunneled their way out of a prison yesterday, and most were quickly recaptured, officials said....

The city was locked down yesterday as security forces, with US air support, searched for the remaining 14....

Two Iraqi officials with knowledge of the investigation said there were indications that the prisoners had inside help....

Is the paper implying it was an INSIDE JOB!

Oh, that's rich!
