The US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a New Hampshire man.
Matthew Thomas Dion, 38, of Manchester is wanted on a warrant for possession of child pornography. Law enforcement officials also want to question him about the deaths of his parents, the US Marshals Service said in a statement.
Dion has been missing since March 24, the day his parents died in a fire. Robert and Constance Dion were killed when an explosion engulfed their Mooresville Road home in flames.
The house was dislodged from its foundation and was a total loss, Manchester Fire District Chief Michael Gamache said at the time.
The parents’ deaths have been determined to be homicides, according to the US Marshals Service statement.
During an investigation, Manchester police found child pornography that they believe belonged to Dion, leading to the warrant.
He is also wanted for questioning in the fire and homicides, the Marshals said.
At the time Dion disappeared, he was reportedly driving a white 2009 Nissan Altima with a New Hampshire license plate, number 341-0587, according to the statement.
He is described as 5-feet-8 and weighing about 200 pounds. He had brown hair and brown eyes when he disappeared, police said.
The US Marshals warned that it is possible Dion has changed his physical appearance.
People are asked not to confront Dion if they see him, but to instead report any information to police or the US Marshals Service.
