BRUSSELS — A Belgian man convicted of murder and rape is being put to death, granted a request for assisted suicide. He says he is a menace to society and cannot live knowing that.
If only our mass-murdering, war criminal psychopaths called leaders or the looting bankers that back them would exhibit such self-reflection.
Even in Belgium, which has one of the broadest euthanasia laws in the world, the decision is raising eyebrows, with some saying it is proof of a failing justice and health system....
