Rewriting FDR

That's the MSM's job; distort and cover up true history.

I'll admit, I believed the hero lies about FDR for a long, long, time. It's drilled into your heads in school: FDR saved America. I guess that's why he allowed the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor; you know, advance wars based on lies so you can advance an agenda.

For your own good, of course, AmeriKan.

"Amid echoes of FDR, debate rekindles over New Deal" by Michael Kranish, Globe Staff | January 15, 2009

WASHINGTON - .... Obama's plea for a massive government spending program is based on his belief that Roosevelt's New Deal helped lift the country out of the 1930s depression. Obama's emphasis on federally funded "green" jobs is reminiscent of Roosevelt's Civilian Conservation Corps. Even the iconic "Hope" poster of Obama seems like an updated version of the artwork produced by Roosevelt's Works Progress Administration....

Yeah, and you have seen how that has worked out: Tennessee Geiger Counter Clicking Over Coal Spill

Of course, "history" records what a success it all was.

It wasn't until the massive spending during the buildup for World War II that the Great Depression was fully over. That is why some historians say the lesson that Obama should take from the New Deal is that he should spend even more money and keep spending until he is certain the current recession is over....

Hmmmmmmm: WWIII Days Away

I mean, THAT'S the LESSON LEARNED -- after WWII, the economict chieftans of this country already had Russia in its sights and recognized that only a MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL STATE would continue their ill-gotten war-profiteering. And now here we are, 60+ years later with the MILTARY STATE and its WAR WORSHIP INGRAINED and EMBEDDED into our psyche!!

Oh, and ALL THAT TIME this country and its leaders have pontificated about PEACE, folks!!! Fooled me once...., right?

Oh, yeah, and why does the state history and its "schools" imply that Roosevelt already had the Depression behind him -- hell, that ended in 1934, right?

Roosevelt, worried about the cost of premiums, initially opposed what became the crucial concept of federal bank deposit insurance. But the program helped ease concerns about the safety of bank deposits and is still considered so crucial to the country's economic security that it was recently expanded by President Bush and Congress in response to the current financial crisis.

What that means is it is VITAL that AMERICAN TAXPAYERS be on the hook for EVERYTHING!!!

That's what is known as "economic security": shoveling money towards the centralized authorities in Washington so they can give it to Wall Street thieves and looters!
