Massachusetts Taxing My Patience

And so is the Globe.

Doesn't take much these days, but..... ??

"The tax break applies to items under $2,500, with some notable exceptions: autos, motorcycles, and tobacco.

Then why was my morning coffee still taxed (twice)?

State coffers were expected to forfeit $20 million to $23 million in revenues, something lawmakers thought Massachusetts could not afford last year.

Notice the Globe never says consumers are expected to forfeit?

It is revealing in that it TELLS YOU the SIDE the the AGENDA-PUSHING PAPER is backing and it AIN'T YOU and ME, reader!!

It NEVER IS!

While it was too soon for shops and malls to have comprehensive sales data, there were encouraging signs for merchants battered by the dismal economy....

I'm tired of the Globe hucking BS, sorry.

--more--"

Yeah, they went to a
mall or two in the area.

That's called "investigative" reporting in AmeriKa's journalism circles these days.

That and sitting in the newsroom drinking coffee and watching television or standing out on a
street corner and watching the cars go by.
