"Auchincloss expected to plead guilty in Oregon child pornography case" by Associated Press | August 14, 2010

GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Oregon prosecutors said yesterday that James Auchincloss, half brother of the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, will plead guilty next week to child pornography charges....

Around AmeriKa: Child Porn Expanding

Yeah, it is the ELITES that are the SICK ONES!

Auchincloss was indicted a year ago after his longtime personal assistant, Edward McManus, told investigators he had seen Auchincloss and codefendant Dennis Vickoren viewing pictures of naked boys in sexual poses at Auchincloss’s home....

Though the charges are eligible for a sentence of probation, Auchincloss told the Associated Press that he expects to have to serve some time and has been examined by a psychologist who reported to prosecutors that he had no pornography problem.

He must still have some pull then.

Have you ever seen anything so absurd when it is your average sick slob?

“Whatever they thought the problem was has been cleared up,’’ Auchincloss said. “I will be a guest of the state....’’

A taxpayer-funded vacation?

"S.C. Senate candidate faces porn charge" by Associated Press | August 14, 2010

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Long shot Democratic US Senate candidate Alvin Greene was indicted yesterday on two charges, including a felony charge of showing pornography to a teenage student in a South Carolina college computer lab.

Greene surprised the party establishment with his primary victory in June. His arrest in November was revealed the day after he won the nomination.

Yeah, what a coincidence, huh?

Oh, the ESTABLISHMENT didn't want him -- and a day later we get the porn charge!?

Authorities said he approached a student in a University of South Carolina computer lab, showed her obscene photos online, then talked about going to her dorm room.

At least it was a GIRL of LEGAL AGE, 'eh?

A Richland County grand jury indicted Greene, 32, for disseminating, procuring, or promoting obscenity — a felony — as well as a misdemeanor charge of communicating obscene materials to a person without consent.

Greene declined to comment at his home in Manning. He has also refused to talk about the charge in interviews, and his attorney did not return messages seeking comment.

Greene had visited the lab at the Bates House dorm several times before his arrest, using an old student ID card to gain entry, according to campus police. Dorm staffers told police they had asked security staff not to let him in.

Greene graduated from South Carolina in 2000 with a political science degree.

Greene, an unemployed military veteran, handily defeated Vic Rawl, a former lawmaker and judge who had been considered an easy win by Democrats. Up to that point, Greene had done no visible campaigning and had no website, fund-raising, or staff.

Has that INCUMBENTS OUT feel, doesn't it?

"FDA OK’s new emergency contraceptive" by Associated Press | August 14, 2010

WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration approved the drug yesterday as a prescription-only birth control option. The ruling clears the way for US sales of the drug, which is already approved in Europe.

These are the same folks who are saying the
seafood from the Gulf is safe?

Yeah, pardon me if I pass on the pill.

Morristown, N.J.-based Watson Pharmaceuticals will market the drug in the United States....

Plan B is made by Teva Pharmaceuticals and is also marketed in several generic versions. Unlike ella, Plan B and other generic versions are available without a prescription for women 17 years and older....

The drug has drawn criticism from antiabortion groups who say it is closer to an abortion pill than an emergency contraception pill.

The most common side effects with the drug included headache, nausea, and abdominal pain, according to an FDA release....

Well, when you are inducing an internal abortion what would you expect?
