Slow Saturday Special: Things Picking Up at the Polls in Rhode Island

"Pawtucket poll worker arrested on charge of offering sex act for $5

A man volunteering at a Pawtucket polling place was arrested after another poll worker told police he offered to perform a sex act on him for $5. The Pawtucket Times reported that William Seiler, 38, of Pawtucket was volunteering at a polling place in a public housing development during Tuesday’s primary elections. Major Arthur Martins said a man in his 20s who was also volunteering told police that Seiler told him to go into the bathroom and he would charge him $5 to perform a sex act. The man called police. Seiler was charged with loitering for prostitution. He was arraigned Wednesday and released on personal recognizance."
