Hasn't been any mention of ISIS in Somalia, probably because they already have an Al-CIA-Bob franchise:
"Drive-by gunmen kill Somali legislator" Associated Press February 10, 2015
MOGADISHU, Somalia — Gunmen shot and killed a Somali lawmaker Monday in a drive-by shooting in the Somali capital, a police official said.
The attack on Abdullahi Qayad Barre took place in an area close to the presidential palace in Mogadishu, said Captain Mohamed Hussein. Gunmen traveling in a car sprayed bullets into the lawmaker’s car as he was heading to Parliament, he said.
The Al Qaeda-linked terrorist group Al Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, the latest in a string of violence targeting the country’s legislators for assassination. Al Shabab militants killed five members of the Somali Parliament last year, while two others survived similar attacks.
Al Shabab, which is fighting to impose Sharia law in Somalia, has carried out many attacks against government officials, African Union peacekeepers, and United Nations staff with suicide bombings and gun attacks.
Militant attacks have continued despite the ouster in 2011 of Al Shabab from its bases in Mogadishu.
Also Monday, Somali lawmakers approved a new Cabinet proposed by the nation’s prime minister, ending a two-month impasse over who will lead the country as it prepares for elections next year.
Parliament voted 191 to 22 in favor of the administration Monday. Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke welcomed their vote of confidence in the 27-member Cabinet.

"Suicide bombings at Somalia hotel kill at least 10" by Abdi Guled, Associated Press February 21, 2015
MOGADISHU, Somalia — Government officials were meeting at the Central Hotel in Somalia’s capital when an Islamic extremist rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the hotel gate, and another went in and blew himself up, killing at least 10 people on Friday, officials said.
Mogadishu’s deputy mayor and a legislator were killed in the attack, a lawmaker said, and the country’s deputy prime minister was among the wounded, said a police official.
The attack is the latest blow to the Somali government’s efforts to contain the deadly insurgency by the Al Qaeda-linked al-Shabab that, despite the loss of key strongholds in Somalia, continues to stage attacks in the capital and elsewhere. The Islamic insurgent group claimed responsibility for the twin suicide bombings, according to the group’s radio station, Andulus.

‘‘We can confirm that more than 10 persons, including politicians and soldiers, were killed in that horrific attack,’’ said Captain Mohamed Hussein, a senior Somali police officer.
The blast ripped off large parts of the hotel’s wall and smoke blackened its facade. Two dead bodies were lying outside the hotel in Mogadishu, and a wounded man struggled to stand up, but immediately collapsed as blood gushed from his abdomen. Soldiers had cordoned off the area.
Terrified pedestrians ran through the streets, with one survivor recounting the bloody scene.
‘‘Disaster — limbs were flying scattered around like tissue papers,’’ said Muhyadin Dahir, who was bloodied and whose face was covered with dust.
Somali legislator Omar Ali Nor and Mogadishu’s deputy mayor Mohamed Aden are among the dead, said lawmaker Mohamed Ali.
‘‘A dark day for our country,’’ Ali said.
Deputy Prime Minister Mohamed Omar Arte was rushed to a hospital, and was among several other high-ranking government officials at the hotel at the time of the attack, Hussein said.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud condemned the attack, saying it would not derail efforts by his government to restore peace to Somalia which is recovering from decades of war.

All I can think is I hope it is not another fake attack like in Kenya.
Speaking of which:
"Extremist video calls for attacks on Western malls" by Andrew Meldrum, Associated Press February 23, 2015
JOHANNESBURG — A video purportedly from Somalia’s Al Qaeda-linked rebel group al-Shabab urged Muslims to attack shopping malls in the United States, Canada, Britain and other Western countries.
The threat came in the final minutes of a more than hourlong video in which the extremists also warned Kenya of more attacks like the September 2013 assault on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi in which 67 people were killed.
Honestly, folks, this is no longer fun.
The video included footage from major news organizations showing the assault on the mall and said it was in reprisal for alleged abuses by Kenyan troops against Muslims in Somalia.
Was nominated for an award I heard.
The masked narrator concluded by calling on Muslims to attack shopping malls, specifically naming the Mall of America in Minnesota, as well as the West Edmonton Mall in Canada and the Westfield mall in Stratford, England. The authenticity of the video could not be immediately verified by the Associated Press.
It doesn't have to be; we know sh** when we smell it.
The narrator, his face wrap-ped in a black-and-white kaffiyeh-type scarf and wearing a camouflage jacket, spoke with a British accent and appeared to be of Somali origin.
I wonder what school he went to.
‘‘What if such an attack were to occur in the Mall of America in Minnesota? Or the West Edmonton Mall in Canada? Or in London’s Oxford Street?’’ the man said, then called for Britain’s Westfield mall to be targeted.
Yeah, what if.
US officials said there was no credible evidence of an imminent threat to a mall anywhere in the nation. But speaking on morning talk shows, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson called the video ‘‘the new phase’’ of the global terrorist threat and warned the public to be vigilant.
Why? The NSA, CIA, and FBI asleep at the switch?
‘‘These groups are relying more and more on independent actors to become inspired, drawn to the cause and they’ll attack on their own,’’ Johnson said, on CNN’s ‘‘State of the Union.’’ ‘‘I am very concerned about serious potential threats of independent actors here in the United States.’’
PFFFFFFT!
So which pathetic patsies has the FBI instigator set up this time?
Asked about the specific threat against the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., Johnson said, ‘‘Any time a terrorist organization calls for an attack on a specific place we’ve got to take that seriously. What we’re telling the public is you’ve got to be vigilant.’’
“There will be enhanced security there that will be apparent, but public vigilance, public awareness and public caution in situations like this is particularly important,’’ he said. “It’s the environment we’re in.’’
Booga-booga-boo!!
Homeland Security officials said Johnson was not warning people to avoid the Mall of America, one of the nation’s largest. Minnesota is home to the largest Somali population in the United States.
There is ONE WAY to avoid that, readers: STAY AWAY from the SHOPPING MALLS at ALL COSTS!

Of course, if the "terrorists(?)" get through and it isn't some staged and scripted propaganda hoax or false flag regarding drills gone live then the whole $urveillance $y$tem will have failed and will need to be $crapped. Right?
"Troops raped 221 women, girls in Darfur village, group says" by Cara Anna, Associated Press February 12, 2015
UNITED NATIONS — Sudanese Army troops raped at least 221 women and girls in a Darfur village in a series of organized, house-to-house attacks last year, Human Rights Watch said in a report released Wednesday.
Who is Human Rights Watch anyway, and why would they be picking on Sudan with something that stinks like the Nigerian narrative??
The organization’s Africa director, Daniel Bekele, called it ‘‘a new low in the catalog of atrocities in Darfur.’’
The incident is at the heart of a recent plunge in relations between Sudan and the international community over a region gripped by violent chaos for more than a decade.
You see? When you do something the globe-kickers don't like they sic the propaganda pre$$ on you.
Reports of a mass rape in Tabit in late October quickly surfaced via radio broadcasts by Sudanese overseas.
A joint United Nations-African Union peacekeeping mission at first said it found no evidence, but the UN special representative on sexual violence in conflict said a heavy Sudanese military presence during its visit probably affected its findings.
Smells like more war lies.
The Security Council demanded that Sudan allow a full investigation. Instead, President Omar al-Bashir ordered the UN mission’s human rights office to close and has refused to allow the peacekeeping mission to visit the village again.
Sudan’s government says its own investigation found ‘‘there had not been a single case of rape.’’ Russia, a Security Council permanent member, endorsed that finding.
Bad Russia!
But the new report, based on more than 130 telephone interviews with survivors, witnesses, and army defectors, says girls as young as 10 were raped by Sudanese forces, and that some women and girls were assaulted multiple times and in front of their families.
The report says Human Rights Watch ‘‘documented 27 separate incidents of rape and obtained credible information about an additional 194 cases.’’
I really don't care what some agenda-pushing Zionist operation that always comes out with the most timely reports to support the war agenda says. Certainly there are plenty of other human rights organizations in this world. Why my Jewish War Daily constantly turns to them is.... never mind.
One question is why it happened. Witnesses and survivors said army forces ordered dozens of men to the outskirts of the village while soldiers entered homes and accused residents of killing a soldier or helping rebel groups, then raped the women and girls.
The report found no evidence in the village of rebel forces, which have been fighting the government since 2003 across the vast region of western Sudan.
More than 300,000 have been killed in the conflict, and more than 400,000 fled their homes last year alone.

Witnesses said some of the soldiers in the mass rape were stationed at the army base on the outskirts of town. Army defectors said other troops were from bases near the North Darfur capital of El Fasher and Sudan’s capital, Khartoum.
‘‘Multiple victims and witnesses reported that government officials threatened to imprison or kill anyone who spoke out about the attacks,’’ Human Rights Watch said. Among those making such threats was local commissioner Al-Hadi Mohammed Abdallah Abdelrahman.
Movement in and out of Tabit is now restricted, with new military checkpoints, and some survivors have said they avoided medical treatment after the rapes because they feared more abuse.
The report says the military personnel who ordered, aided, or participated in the rapes are responsible for war crimes.
Human Rights Watch is demanding that Sudan allow immediate access to the village, that the UN Security Council and the peacekeeping force take ‘‘concrete steps’’ to protect civilians in Darfur, and that the International Criminal Court investigate.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, said the United Nations welcomes the report but needs direct access to the village, which it has requested repeatedly.
Ban was set to meet ing the assistant to Sudan’s president Wednesday, but it was not known if the mass rape would be discussed.
Look at them flog this story.
