There is an ice cream called Vaseline?
"Breyers ice cream plant in Framingham closing
Consumer products behemoth Unilever said yesterday it plans to shut down the Breyers ice cream plant in Framingham next year, eliminating 201 jobs. The factory manufactures all flavors of Breyers packaged ice cream.
Production will be shifted to other plants in the United States by the second half of the year as a way to save money, according to Steve Rosemary, Unilever Ice Cream's director of manufacturing. The Framingham factory will operate at normal production this year and phase down slowly next year, Rosemary said.
"After a long and careful analysis, we have determined that greater efficiencies can be achieved by shifting production to other company plants in the United States," he said. "This decision was a difficult one and in no way reflects the dedication or performance of our Framingham colleagues."
But F*** YOU!
Unilever's other brands include Ben & Jerry's, Dove, and Vaseline.
