NATO's Made-for-TV Movie

I hate to be the one to tell you this; however, EVERYTHING YOU SEE on that TV has been MANUFACTURED, CONTRIVED and PRESENTED for an AGENDA-PUSHING PURPOSE!!!! The media is just confirming it in what I view as a slip-up.

"made-for-television event"

"Behind NATO pageantry, differences on Afghanistan" by Edward Cody, Washington Post | April 3, 2009

STRASBOURG, France - European leaders have prepared to host a spectacular summit here to mark the 60th anniversary of NATO, the bedrock military alliance that has bound the United States to the security of Europe since shortly after World War II.

With President Obama in their midst, officials said, European presidents and prime ministers will walk side by side tomorrow morning across a bridge spanning the French-German border.

The made-for-television event, they explained, is designed to dramatize not only solidarity among the 26 NATO nations, but also Europe's embrace of the new leadership in Washington....

A senior adviser to President Nicolas Sarkozy of France: "We have turned the page on Iraq."

Meaning they were ALWAYS READING from the SAME BOOK: Prop 102: Iraq and Government Lies

But behind the display of revived trans-Atlantic friendship, European leaders have proved reluctant to follow Obama in his first major foreign policy initiative, which in effect seeks to make Afghanistan NATO's main mission of the moment. With a few exceptions, European analysts said, they are ready to heed the US call for more military help in Afghanistan only to the extent necessary to stay friendly with the new administration.

"The Europeans want to come back from the summit and say, 'Look, we're still tight with the Americans,' " said Daniel Korski, an Afghanistan specialist at the European Council on Foreign Relations. "The Americans want to come back from the summit and say, 'Look, the Europeans are going to help with the new strategy in Afghanistan.' "

European officials said Obama is likely to come away from the summit tomorrow with a broad endorsement of his idea that stabilizing Afghanistan is a strategic goal for NATO. But they also said that summit pleasantries are unlikely to mask Europe's refusal to commit to major new troop deployments.

War is always the FIRST ORDER of BUSINESS -- and the MOST IMPORTANT -- to war-mongers and their mouthpiece media papers!!!!

STRASBOURG, France - Police fired tear gas at rock-hurling protesters yesterday on the eve of a NATO summit - the first real confrontation after hours of mostly small, scattered and peaceful rallies.

Agent provocateurs always make the agenda-pushing papers.

CUI BONO?

Who wants to make protesting the globalist agenda look bad?

Ever notice that if you are PROTESTING WARS, TORTURE and TYRANNY; BANK BAILOUTS and GLOBALIST AGENDAS (as in the uncovered London protests this week-end); the policies of ISRAEL or GENOCIDE (unless the enemy is duly designated by the agenda-pushing, war-promoting, Zionist-controlled AmeriKan press); or, gasp, 9/11 TRUTH (and are angry about the unending lying), then you are described much differently than those protesting to ADVANCE the GLOBALIST AGENDA (as the gay, immigrant, and environment protests are portrayed by same said papers)!!!!!!!

Yeah, no AGENDA-PUSHING BIAS and CENSORSHIP there!!!

That's why this -- Times Co. threatens to shut Globe -- is no surprise at all.

Police said that several hundred protesters started to burn a barricade made of slats of wood and trash bins on a road leading to a camp of demonstrators in the neighborhood of Neuhof. Demonstrators also threw firecrackers at police, causing burns to the legs of one and injuring another officer's hearing, police said. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Some of the protesters said they were frustrated about the large police presence in the French city and across the Rhine river in the German cities of Kehl and Baden-Baden, where President Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met. Protest organizer Moritz Volkatz asked people to return to the camp in Strasbourg, where some 3,000 people are staying, and to wait for today's planned rallies.

Christoph Kleine, a spokesman for the protest network Block NATO, said earlier in the day that avoiding violence was one of the protesters' goals....

Which means you KNOW who is doing the violence!

Some 15,000 German police - including 31 riot squads - and 9,000 French police are on call for the summit. German authorities had estimated that up to 25,000 protesters would take part in several demonstrations in Baden-Baden and Kehl. France's interior minister has suggested 30,000 to 40,000 ultimately could show up in Strasbourg, where the camp was set up to house demonstrators.

It was not immediately clear why the numbers, so far, had been so small.

Like I'm going to believe the lying, agenda-pushing MSM!

Pffft!!!

In Baden-Baden, about 500 people - mostly young adults - walked quietly and slowly from the main train station to the city center, flanked on both sides by a massive phalanx of police, some in riot gear with thick pads, protective vests and helmets and batons. Police helicopters flew overhead.

Sig Heil!

"Sixty years is too long!" the protesters chanted. "No more NATO is the goal!"

Something I noted recently: Obama to Reinvigorate NATO in Afghanistan

There were about 5,000 police in the city where President and Michelle Obama arrived aboard Marine One, the presidential helicopter.

What was the carbon footprint on that, hmm?
