PRAGUE - Tensions have escalated in Bosnia and Herzegovina after Bosnian Serb leaders threatened to pull out of state institutions, accused a senior American UN diplomat of conspiring against the Serbs, and demanded the right to secede from the country.
No wonder this was the one and only appearance in my obfuscating War Daily for the item.
Bosnian Serb officials, Western diplomats and the police said that the crisis began last week....

Analysts of the region said the situation threatened to unravel the US-brokered Dayton accords of 1995, which divided Bosnia and Herzegovina, a former Yugoslav republic, into a Muslim-Croat entity and a Serb Republic.
