"Death toll rises to six in gas explosion

A sixth person has died of injuries received in an explosion Feb. 7 at a power plant under construction in Middletown. Kenneth Haskell, 37, of New Durham, N.H., died yesterday at Hartford Hospital, police said. Haskell was a superintendent for Keystone Construction and Maintenance Services, a contractor on the Kleen Energy project. The explosion at the nearly completed plant occurred as workers purged a natural gas line. Twenty people were injured (AP)."
