BILLINGS, Mont. — From the Himalayas to Alaska, glacier melting has accelerated in recent decades as global temperatures increased. The melt-off shows the climate is changing but does not show exactly what is causing temperatures to go up, Dan Fagre, an ecologist with the US Geological Survey said. The park’s glaciers have been slowly melting since about 1850, when the centuries-long Little Ice Age ended....

HELENA, Mont. — A federal judge in Montana has ruled that a US Forest Service plan to spray herbicide from helicopters over the Kootenai National Forest does not adequately protect dozens of grizzly bears.

US District Judge Donald Molloy says such frequency and duration would probably have an adverse effect on the bears. The Alliance for the Wild Rockies sued the Forest Service over the weed-spraying plan, saying it would drive bears from their habitat and could be harmful to people in the Libby area....

Yeah, never mind the chemicals they are dumping on you.
