Operating For Organs

Maybe it would just be better if you let me expire.

And given the revelations regarding the Israeli organ-harvesting operation these articles are cast in a whole new agenda-pushing light to me.

"In ER, new ethics dilemma arises; Test of rapid organ donations raises controversy" by Rob Stein, Washington Post | March 21, 2010

WASHINGTON — In the hope of expanding a controversial form of organ donation into emergency rooms around the United States, a federally funded project has begun trying to obtain kidneys, livers, and possibly other body parts from car accident victims, heart attack fatalities, and other urgent-care patients.

Yeah, BEFORE they are DEAD (keep reading, because this sounds so right, doesn't it?)!!!

Using a $321,000 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, the emergency departments at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Presbyterian Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh have started rapidly identifying donors among patients doctors are unable to save and taking steps to preserve their organs so a transplant team can rush to try to retrieve them.

So who decides that?

Obtaining organs from emergency room patients has long been considered off-limits in the United States because of ethical and logistical concerns.

This pilot project aims to investigate whether it is feasible and encourage other hospitals nationwide to follow if it is....

This is what YOUR TAX DOLLARS are being spent on, America?

Now wonder s***s like Rockefeller, Bush, and Kissinger are still crawling around; they are getting fresh organs all the time.

“This is about helping people who have declared themselves to be donors, but die in a place where donation is currently not possible,’’ said Clifton Callaway, an associate professor of emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh who is leading the project. “It’s also about helping the large number of people awaiting transplants who could die waiting because of the shortage of organs.’’

Yeah, right, it is ALWAYS for the GOOD!

Critics say the program represents a troubling attempt to bring a questionable form of organ procurement into an even more ethically dicey situation: the tumultuous environment of an ER, where more than ever it raises the specter of doctors preying on dying patients for their organs.

Yeah, that was the impression I had during the first glowing paragraph and half of this agenda-pushing report.

“There’s a fine line between methods that are pioneering and methods that are predatory,’’ said Leslie Whetstine, a bioethicist at Walsh University in Ohio. “This seems to me to be in the latter category. It’s ghoulish.’’

I could not have put it any better myself.

Because thousands of people die each year waiting for organ transplants, the federal government has begun promoting an alternative that involves surgeons taking organs, within minutes, from patients whose hearts have stopped beating but who have not been declared brain-dead.

And yet we are told of miracle stories where people came back from the dead!

So they will be coming back to a carved up cadaver, huh?

The faster organs are retrieved, the better the chances they will be useable.

I mean, the newspaper makes it sound so good, doesn't it?

Although increasingly common, the practice remains controversial because of questions about whether organ preservation and removal might begin before patients are technically dead, and because of fears that doctors might not do everything possible to save patients and may even hasten their deaths, to increase the chance of obtaining organs.

Of course, doctors would never do anything for
money, right?

That was a front-page Sunday feature, readers.

Kidney donors’ lives not shortened

Yeah, run right out and give up your innards.

And eugenics IS alive and well in the early 21st-century.

"Yes, top students reap rich rewards, even as egg donors; Would-be parents want high scorers" by Stephanie Ebbert, Globe Staff | March 26, 2010

Anecdotal reports have long depicted eager prospective parents willing to pay outrageous sums for carefully screened donors of sperm or eggs, and stories of parents offering tens of thousands of dollars for eggs from geniuses or extraordinarly talented musicians pop up regularly.

Yes, but those anecdotal reports are conspiracy theories about global eugenics, etc, etc, as if that was never a part of human history (heck, it must be; learned it in the state school).

The stories have alarmed some medical professionals and raised ethical questions. Concerned about eggs being treated as commodities, and worried that big financial rewards could entice women to ignore the risks of the rigorous procedures required for harvesting, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine discourages compensation based on donors’ personal characteristics. The society also discourages any payments over $10,000.

I'm really becoming grossed out, readers.

Researcher Aaron D. Levine’s paper points out, however, that no outside regulator enforces those guidelines and that they are often ignored.

I don't want to type it; however, once again, that's where the sourcing is from.

And it made the front page!

Of the advertisements Levine examined, nearly one-quarter offered donors more than $10,000, and about one-quarter of the ads listed specific requirements, such as appearance or ethnicity, also in violation of guidelines that discourage greater payment for particular personal characteristics....

Yes, THAT is EUGENICS!

The four-month process for an egg donor involves screening — for infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, toxicology, drugs, and even cigarettes — and psychological evaluations to ensure the woman is mature enough to grasp the commitment she is making. The donor must attend regular medical vists, including blood tests and ultrasounds, often requiring time off work and lost wages and childcare expenses if the donor has children of her own. Donors must give themselves nightly shots and have eggs retrieved through a catheter....

I'd rather nature and God take care of it, thank you.

"Huge N.J. corruption case trial set to open" by Associated Press | January 25, 2010

NEWARK - The first trial in New Jersey’s largest-ever corruption investigation is set to begin in a federal courthouse in Newark this week.

Oh, now it is SIMPLY a CORRUPTION TRIAL, huh?

I'm surprised it even got a brief.

The Body Snatchers of Israel

The public finally will get to see Solomon Dwek in action: a government cooperator who secretly recorded hours of meetings at restaurants, diners, and parking lots over two years, showing religious leaders, politicians, and municipal employees in various states of alleged wrongdoing.

It has been six months since the mammoth corruption inquiry resulted in 44 arrests. The dramatic July 23 takedown included early-morning raids from synagogues to city halls and allegations of bribes distributed in cash-stuffed cereal boxes. Prosecutors say the money-laundering operations were so large they were referred to as laundromats.

It also produced one of the more memorable perp walks in New Jersey’s history: Elderly rabbis in long black coats, sweat-suited municipal employees, and assorted bleary-eyed elected officials paraded in handcuffs off a fleet of buses for processing at FBI headquarters.

And it just as quickly faded from the MSM memory, notice that?

Among the defendants: Three mayors, two state assemblymen, and other public officials charged with corruption, prominent rabbis from Brooklyn and Deal, N.J. charged with money laundering, and in one case, a man charged with brokering the sale of a human kidney.

Like an alcoholic always says, "I just had one."

Ten have pleaded guilty, and the rest are awaiting trial. But the man everyone wants to hear is Dwek, the cooperating witness and son of a prominent rabbi that the US government is hanging almost its entire case on.

So reports the concealing Zionist MSM, anyhow.
