RNC Caught With Its Shirt Off

One reason why I never contribute to political campaigns anymore. I always tell them to get it from the banks or AIPAC now. That's who they listen to, not you or me.

And for those that say
public financing is the way, forget it. I don't want tax dollars going for useless campaigns!

The ANSWER is LESS GOVERNMENT, FEWER POLITICIANS, and MORE INDIVIDUAL and COMMUNITY CONTROL of our destinies!

Why would you want to give money to a political party so they can... party.

"RNC to be reimbursed for meals at topless club

WASHINGTON — The Republican National Committee said it will be reimbursed for a particularly questionable expenditure last month: $1,950 for meals at a Hollywood sex-themed club that features topless dancers. Doug Heye, committee spokesman, said the RNC will be reimbursed by donor-vendor Erik Brown of Orange, Calif. The trip was neither sanctioned nor authorized by the party and was inappropriate, Heye said.

So what? This is what they do with campaign contributions.

Try to make it all better with a scapegoating, 'er, firing:

"RNC fires staffer over visit to topless club

WASHINGTON — The Republican National Committee has fired a staffer who helped organize a $1,946 visit last month to a Hollywood club featuring topless dancers and bondage outfits.

Oh, that's a nice party of perverts, 'eh?

The episode is the latest occurrence of questionable spending by the RNC as Republicans prepare for a costly election season in which they hope to take dozens of House and Senate seats from Democrats.

I've already soured on the election.

I'm voting out all incumbents regardless of party, and for any third party candidate.

He could be the Devil himself and I'll vote for him if there is not a D or a R next to the name. For any post, any position.

An RNC memo says the Jan. 31 outing to Voyeur West Hollywood involved several members of the “Young Eagles’’ GOP group who had been in Los Angeles for a meeting....

Yeah, that is the
PORN CAPITAL of the WORLD!

Great place for a political meeting, 'eh?

"RNC tries to overcome a double whammy week

WASHINGTON — The best thing the Republican Party can say about this week is, it is nearly over.

First came news that the Republican National Committee paid $1,946 for a gathering at a sex-themed Hollywood club, which a group of young Republicans had visited without RNC approval. The money is to be paid back.

Now it turns out the RNC inadvertently listed a phone-sex number on a fund-raising letter sent to potential donors. People who tried to call the committee were instead offered “live, one-on-one talk with a nasty girl’’ for $2.99 a minute.

Just AWASH in SMUT over there, 'eh, Repugs?

Doug Heye, RNC spokesman, said typographical errors caused the letter to contain a toll-free 800 number rather than Washington’s 202 area code. The problem was first reported by the Politico website.

They always come up with the weakest excuses (as bloggers are criticized for grammatical typos!).

Can you tell I don't really like or care for politics anymore, dear readers?

"As a crucial vote looms, controversies bog down Steele’s pitch for Republicans" by Philip Rucker, Washington Post | April 6, 2010

Liking it even less now.

WASHINGTON — RNC staffers approved a $1,900 bill at a Hollywood nightclub that features topless dancers mimicking lesbian sex acts while wearing bondage gear.

This gets SICKER and SICKER as we progress, readers!

Still there have been no calls for the ouster of Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican National Committee, and some top Republicans have calculated that there is no upside in forcing out the first black chairman of a party largely dominated by white Southerners — especially not while the GOP is winning under his watch.

Steele claimed credit for recent Republican victories in Massachusetts, Virginia, and New Jersey, telling reporters in January: “I won two governorships and a host of special elections.’’

Oh, he won 'em, huh?

Stop me when you have had to much of the political arrogance, readers.

Some Republicans question Steele’s contribution to the party’s recent successes. Nevertheless, Ron Kaufman, a former RNC chairman who worked against Steele in the leadership race, said it is hard to argue that the party is not better off than the day Steele was elected. “The bottom line is the coach gets the credit,’’ he said. “They’re paid to win, and we’re winning.’’

Yet some prominent party leaders, including three former RNC chairmen, are sidestepping his operation with independent efforts to help Republicans win in the critical November midterm elections. And they are raising millions of dollars from the party’s biggest donors, some of whom have stopped giving to the RNC amid the furor over Steele’s leadership.

I wouldn't worry too much.

See: Googling Control of Congress

Buying a Change of Congress

I think there will be enough money for the campaigns; there always is, isn't there?

Mark DeMoss, who joined the ranks of big RNC donors after giving $15,000 in 2008, said he would not contribute to the RNC this year because he was offended by an internal fund-raising strategy that surfaced last month featuring a caricature of President Obama as the Joker and linking Democratic leaders with socialism.

I'm tired of addressing COINTELPRO and CONTROLLED-OPPOSITION OUTFITS that ALWAYS get a mention in the agenda-pushing MSM.

Then came the nightclub story. Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, a conservative Christian organization, e-mailed several hundred thousand supporters last week urging them not to give money to the RNC.

On Sunday, Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona, the second-ranking GOP senator, distanced himself from Steele. On “Fox News Sunday,’’ Kyl wouldn’t say whether he thinks the chairman should step down, but he said “this kind of thing has got to stop or they won’t get any contributions.’’

Yeah, if the blind Christian sheeple stop giving their $$$ that could make a dent in the Repugs party pocketbook.

WASHINGTON — The Republican National Committee’s chief of staff resigned under pressure yesterday, which the chairman, Michael Steele, described as an effort to reassure wavering donors following a controversy over its most recent expense accounting.

The resignation of Ken McKay, Steele’s highest-ranking aide, is the most acute in a series of attempts at damage control by the RNC after it was revealed March 29 that the committee had spent $1,900 to entertain young donors at a risqué West Hollywood nightclub....

"Top RNC activist quits, raps leadership

WASHINGTON — Amid growing concern over Michael Steele’s stewardship of the Republican National Committee, a New Hampshire activist resigned his seat yesterday, alleging an “out-of-touch, free-spending culture of Washington’’ within the party.

Yeah, it is IN BOTH of THEM!

Meanwhile, a finance report that showed the RNC spent $982 at a Vermont winery for what it called “office supplies’’ was unlikely to calm the fretting.

Yeah, wouldn't it be GREAT to have SUCKERS GIVE YOU THEIR MONEY so they can PARTY!!!!??

Sean Mahoney, a New Hampshire businessman who is considering a run for Congress in November, joined the chorus of criticism from activists and donors over lavish spending by the RNC.

Of course, the country is hurting and falling apart, but you know....

Mahoney was the latest person to cut ties with the committee; Steele’s top aide and one of his key outside advisers ended relationships with the committee Monday.

Republican officials said it was unlikely Steele would step down, and Steele himself vowed to remain. Even so, revelations of a nearly $2,000 tab at a sex-themed California nightclub and almost $1,000 at a winery did little to help his standing among the party activists who are optimistic about the GOP’s chances in midterm elections and down on Steele’s public profile.

“Not only has the out-of-touch, free-spending culture of Washington come to completely dominate the United States Congress, but I have watched with growing unease as the same mentality has seeped into our own national party,’’ Mahoney wrote in a letter.

That's why there is a "Tea Party" movement.

Katie Wright, RNC spokeswoman, thanked Mahoney for his services and gently disputed his contentions.

Yeah, whatever, scum s***.

They don't get it, they don't hear it, and they definitely don't smell their own you-know-what, America.
