Slow Saturday Special: The Brookline Four

Time to get out of the stripping business.

"4 Brookline officers accused of assault; Put on leave after bachelor party" by Brock Parker, Globe Correspondent | March 31, 2010

Four Brookline police officers have been placed on paid administrative leave after a Lynn-based exotic entertainment business said the officers, who were off duty, assaulted a chaperone who accompanied a dancer to a Beacon Street bachelor party early Sunday.

The chaperone, Robert Sonia, 40, of Lynn, suffered a broken eye socket, broken nose, and a laceration on his left brow during the alleged attack, John Saliba, his Boston lawyer, said. Saliba said he is seeking the identities of the four police officers so his client can press charges.

Brookline police have not released the names of the officers, and Lieutenant Phil Harrington said that because of an ongoing investigation, he could not discuss what occurred. Harrington said only that the four off-duty officers were placed on leave after an incident at Beacon Street and Corey Road at 4:45 a.m. Sunday....

So the COPS were ALL BOOZED UP and looking for trouble, 'eh?

John Galland, owner of Shamrock Entertainment in Lynn, said that one of the four officers called his business early Sunday morning requesting an exotic dancer for a bachelor party on Beacon Street.

Galland said the dancer and Sonia went to the address where there were four men who claimed to be police officers. But while the men had requested the entertainment, they told Sonia and the dancer that the bachelor had disappeared and they decided to cancel the $225 performance, Galland said.

When Sonia and the dancer requested gas money for their time, the men told them to get out of the home. At that point, Sonia and the dancer walked out to her car and began to back away when they saw one of the four men taking a photograph of the vehicle’s license plate, Galland said. Sonia then got out of the vehicle and asked what was going on.

Galland said the man taking the photos began beating Sonia, and the three other off-duty officers rushed across the street to assist. Galland said the off-duty officers then kicked his employee in the head and face for about 10 to 15 minutes before an on-duty police officer responded to the scene and placed Sonia in handcuffs.

Talk about adding insulting impunity to injury!!!

Sonia was then taken by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he was treated and released Sunday, Galland said. In 20 years of running his exotic dancing business, Galland said, he has never had such a problem.

“Nothing ever like this,’’ Galland said. “Nothing like this by civilians, let alone police that we trust to protect us — that we put in positions of power.’’ I no longer feel that way, and neither do most Americans.

Upon seeing police, their first reaction is not "Great, the police!"

It's usually "Uh-oh, the police" even if you are doing nothing wrong.

I guess being a fascist asshole must be a job qualification or something.

Yeah, let's hid those identities in a brief:

"Officers accused of assault are identified

Police have released the names of the four officers accused of assaulting the chaperone of an exotic dancer at a bachelor party early Sunday. The officers who have been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation are Daniel Avila, David Hill, Yu Kajita, and Brendan Kelliher. Police said none of the four officers have been the subject of internal investigations during their careers in Brookline.

Of course, the cops here never do anything wrong.

"Lawyer for 4 Brookline officers says accuser started altercation" by Brock Parker, Globe Correspondent | April 3, 2010

The lawyer representing four Brookline police officers accused of assaulting a stripper’s chaperone outside a bachelor party Sunday said the chaperone struck one of the officers first....

And FOR THAT he needed his EYE SOCKET and NOSE BROKEN!

Cop couldn't just WALK AWAY like WE are told to do, huh?

"Brookline seeking to charge 4 officers; Stripper, escort also to face assault case" by Brock Parker, Globe Correspondent | April 10, 2010

Brookline police are seeking charges against four of their own officers, a stripper, and her chaperone for their alleged involvement in a bachelor-party melee last month.

But chaperone Robert Sonia’s lawyer, John Saliba, said he thinks that felony charges the department is seeking against Sonia and stripper Theresa Soundis are lopsided in comparison with the misdemeanors being sought against the four officers.

Yes, you can TURN to the AUTHORITIES for JUSTICE in here in Massachusetts!!

They are NO DIFFERENT than ANYWHERE ELSE with the LYING and COVER-YOUR-ASS SHIT!!!

“This seems quite retaliatory to me,’’ Saliba said.

Yeah, and ANYONE ELSE READING THIS!!

The department applied for a criminal complaint yesterday seeking charges of assault and battery against the four officers, Daniel Avila, David Hill, Yu Kajita, and Brendan Kelliher. The officers, on paid administrative leave, must appear before a Brookline District Court magistrate, who will decide whether they will be charged, said Brookline Police Lieutenant Phil Harrington.

I wouldn't hold my breath on criminal charges.

You are GOING to have to GO the CIVIL ROUTE so that TAXPAYERS will have to PAY for this!!!

Is THAT what you wanted YOUR TAXES going towards, Brookline?

Sonia, of Lynn, must also face the magistrate to determine whether the case will go forward on counts that include threatening to commit a crime, assault and battery, and unarmed assault with intent to steal, which is a felony.

Soundis, of Lynn, faces a hearing to decide whether she will be charged with witness interference and obstruction of justice, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, and assault with a dangerous weapon, which is a felony.

Brookline police declined to comment further about the case yesterday, as did Kevin Bowe, a spokesman for Norfolk District Attorney William R. Keating.

Un-flipping-f***ing-real!

EVERY SINGLE ONE of those shits should be FIRED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the STATE and AUTHORITIES are LOOKING OUT FOR YOU and PROTECTING YOU, citizens!!!

Sonia has said he was chaperoning Soundis on March 28 when the four off-duty officers called Shamrock Entertainment, of Lynn, seeking a stripper for a bachelor party in the 1700 block of Beacon Street. When Sonia and Soundis arrived at the apartment, the off-duty officers said the bachelor was no longer there and they canceled the entertainment, according to Sonia’s account of events. Sonia contends that after he and the stripper left the apartment, one of the officers stood behind their car and photographed the vehicle as it was backing up.

The implication from the agenda-pushing reporter being -- of course -- that you can't trust the victim, not in this case!

Do they even know they are doing it, or have they so self-censored themselves that they have not a clue?

Sonia got out to ask what was going on, he says, when the four officers allegedly assaulted him. He suffered a fractured eye socket, broken nose, and a laceration above one eye.

But he started it!!!

Thomas Drechsler, a lawyer hired by the Brookline police union to represent the officers, said Sonia struck one of the officers first.

Yeah, so FOUR of them BEAT the SHIT OUT of him!!!!

He said the charges the Brookline Police Department is seeking against Sonia and Soundis indicate that police believe the chaperone and stripper were the assailants and not the four officers.

And thus washes away any good will or credibility regarding these cretinous excuses for life.

Drechsler said he was disappointed that police also filed a criminal complaint against his clients. But he said he is confidant his clients will be exonerated in court. “We intend to vigorously contest the [criminal complaint] application against my clients,’’ Drechsler said.

And up came my lunch.

Guess who will be paying for all this, taxpayers.

Hey, nothing better to do with the money, right?

I'm sure your schools and police force is in great shape.

Well, maybe one of them.

Last week, Sonia also filed a criminal complaint in Brookline District Court seeking to have the four officers charged with aggravated assault and battery, a felony, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon, a boot. Saliba said he believes the felony charges Brookline Police are seeking against Sonia and Soundis are in retaliation for Sonia filing his complaint.

Yeah, it is called INTIMIDATION!

You know, like something a BULLY would do!

Saliba was speaking on Soundis’s behalf yesterday. Another lawyer in his office, Stephen Hrones, will represent her. Harrington declined to comment on Saliba’s contention that the department is retaliating. But Saliba called it amazing that the department is seeking charges against its own officers. He said it indicates that police believe that at the least, the off-duty officers did assault Sonia.

Yeah, even the lawyers have to suck cop cock.

Time to CLOSE all the STRIP CLUBS, folks!

COPS can't handle themselves correctly.
