Oil Slick is the End of Obama

Oh, he will still be a figurehead for this rotting and collapsing corpse of an empire, but his credibility has been totally blown by this.

I do believe that not even another false-flag inside job from Israel and a new World War can save his failed presidency now; however, that does not mean the psychopaths will not try it.

It has been a pleasure to serve you, dear readers and followers. I love you all.

"US opens spill investigations; Holder vows to prosecute any violations; BP stops trying to plug well" by Helene Cooper and Peter Baker, New York Times | June 2, 2010

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration said yesterday that it had begun civil and criminal investigations into the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, as the deepening crisis threatened to define President Obama’s second year in office....

And not only that, NYT, but it will be HIS LEGACY -- save an apocalyptic World War.

Either way, he has failed as an effective president -- and unswerving fealty to war criminal Israel proves it.

On Wall Street, the Dow Jones industrial average fell 120 points shortly after Holder’s announcement as energy stocks tumbled on expectations of the federal investigations.

BP lost 15 percent of its market value during the day’s trading.

I'll cover that below; don't worry, they ain't hurting a bit.

BP and government officials said flatly for the first time that they had abandoned any further plans to try to plug the well and would instead try to siphon the leaking oil and gas to the surface until relief wells can stop the flow, most likely not before August.

Good Lord, at least TWO MORE MONTHS of SPEW into the Gulf.

Attorney General Eric Holder’s comments, which echoed those of Obama earlier in the day in the Rose Garden, reflected deepening frustration within the administration at the inability to stop the spill, along with wide concern that the government and the president appear increasingly impotent as oil laps at the shorelines of Louisiana, and now Alabama and Mississippi....

This was simply the funeral for me; I had given up on his administration months ago. Being worse than George Bush wasn't the change I had in mind.

Having abandoned the attempt to plug the gushing well, BP and the government moved ahead on the latest plan, to contain the oil and gas as it flows from the floor of the gulf and siphon it to the surface.

BP prepared to sever the pipe that once connected the well to the surface and is now snaking along the sea floor from the wellhead. That pipe, called a riser, had been attached to a blowout preventer, a stack of valves sitting on top of the well.

Removing the pipe could increase the flow of oil into the gulf until response crews can complete the next phase of the operation, affixing a cap to the remaining stub of the riser at the blowout preventer and siphoning the leaking oil into the cap through a new riser and up to a ship on the surface.

And GIVEN THEIR TRACK RECORD so far I am PREPARED for FAILURE, aren't you?

The more confrontational tone from Washington underscored concerns within the administration about the long-term effect of the oil spill, not only environmentally, economically, and politically, but on the national psyche as well.

Sorry, YOU BLEW IT, 'bomber!

Like no other, the topic of the oil spill now dominates the national conversation.

As it should!

Early comparisons to Hurricane Katrina have dissolved into comparisons to the hostage crisis with Iran — an episode that spanned 444 days and beleaguered the presidency of Jimmy Carter.

Obomber held hostage by BP!!!

The spill has kept Obama from focusing attention on other issues, like creating jobs and carrying out the health care law, at a time when polls suggest public trust in government is declining and when his party is fighting to retain control of Congress....

The LIES have CAUGHT UP with them, sorry!

I didn't do it; they did it to themselves.

The president was adamant that the government and the industry had to find a way to make offshore drilling safe because the nation needs the oil....

And DOWN DROPS the old trust-o-meter again!

Obama's Mistake

He's made more than just one.

Here is a little history lesson for you:

"From the 1953 CIA Overthrow of Democracy in Iran, to the Iraq War, to the Criminal Gulf Catastrophe and Deaths, BP Was There

.... The fourth largest company in the world wasn't always called BP. It used to be owned by the British Government (remember the navy armada in need of oil). It was named the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company when the CIA teamed up with the British because the Western style Iranian leader Mossadeq wanted to nationalize Britain's 100% owned and run giant oil concession in Iran, and the West would have none of that. So Eisenhower authorized "Operation Ajax," and the Shah of Iran was placed in power -- ruling with an iron fist and the dreaded SAVAK, all the time fully backed by the U.S. -- leading to the radical theocratic revolution that we still confront today. All the time BP, which formally adopted its current name in 1954, was there.

BP was there throughout the de facto colonization of the Middle East to provide oil to the West, the British and the U.S. remaining strong partners in keeping any recalcitrant nations in line. Which leads to the Iraq War and why many Americans and Brits were puzzled by Tony Blair's eagerness to go along with Cheney's secret oil committee plan to seize Iraq oil fields and Bush's belief that the war was Biblically justified. BP is the largest corporation in the UK and the third largest energy company. Do you have any more questions?

BP and its American counterparts are part of the corporate oligarchy that run governments when it comes to energy policy. They don't take orders from sovereign nations; they give them. They are unelected, but because of their hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue and profit, they run the show when it comes to oil policy, and profit comes first: forget about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Oil is their gold; we are just consumers who can be replaced at any time by more consumers, vassals to the oil company Masters of the Universe. There is no brake on their malfeasance, greed and criminal behavior, nor their ability to get nations to go to war, overthrow democratically elected leaders, and to get away with pollution of proportions beyond the imagination.

For over a century, whenever American and British GIs have died for oil, whenever pollution and toxicity have been let loose to ravage our shores, whenever residents have died of cancer caused by the oil refining process and spills, whenever Congress and White Houses have loosened regulations to allow reckless and massively damaging behavior, BP was there, along with their American counterparts: companies so large that they are above the law and governmental control....
