"Greece’s debt takes another hit, as Moody’s assigns it junk status" by Nicholas Paphitis, Associated Press | June 15, 2010

ATHENS — Moody’s Investors Service slashed Greece’s credit rating to junk status yesterday in a new blow to the debt-ridden country that is under intense international scrutiny after narrowly avoiding default last month.....

The downgrades reflect concern that the country could fail to meet its obligations to cut its deficit and pay down its debt, which the Greek government says is out of the question.

In New York, traders seemed unfazed by the news, which only weeks ago would have sent stocks tumbling on fears that problems in Europe were worsening. But traders don’t have any illusions about the financial problems Greece is facing.

A Greek Finance Ministry statement insisted that the recovery effort was on track....

Oh, so YOUR CHANGE GOVERNMENT is a LYING SACK of S*** just like ours, 'eh, Greeks?

"Greece aims to reduce restrictions on layoffs" by Nicholas Paphitis, Associated Press | June 17, 2010

ATHENS — Greece unveiled a draft presidential decree yesterday that will make it easier for companies to fire workers by raising the number of layoffs allowed and enabling lower compensation payments.

All so BACK-STABBING BANKERS' APPETITES can be FETED!

It’s another effort to help the nation’s economy, which is in the throes of a major debt crisis, with unemployment reaching 11.6 percent in March.

Spin something enough and it DOES BECOME a PoS!!

The AmeriKan MSM proves it!!!

Unions reacted angrily to the proposed reforms made public by the Labor Ministry....

So WHEN is the NEXT UNCOVERED WORK STOPPAGE or STRIKE, MSM?

The draft decree will not require parliamentary approval....

Greece’s main private sector union, GSEE, rejected the draft reforms as “unacceptable and unconstitutional,’’ and vowed to challenge them in court.

Better than the self-serving "public servant" scum looters of government.

Greece narrowly avoided defaulting on its loans last month, using the first installment of a European Union and IMF bailout package....

So HOW LONG can YOU TREAD WATER, readers?

That's about how long the Greek economy has.
