Dry Turkey For Israel

Wouldn't you be if they tried to overthrow your government and murdered your citizens on aid mission?

"Warplanes target Kurdish rebels

ANKARA -- Turkish warplanes launched air raids at suspected Kurdish rebel positions in northern Iraq yesterday after a rebel attack on a military outpost in Turkey touched off clashes in which nine soldiers and 12 rebel fighters died, Turkey's military and reports said.

Rebel fighters? Not insurgents or militants?

Israel must be mad at Turkey if they are being treated this way in the AmeriKan mouthpiece of a paper.

Two other soldiers were killed in a land mine explosion while chasing the rebels, the state-run Anatolia news agency reported, raising the overall death toll in yesterday's violence to 23 (AP)."

Ah, forget about that!

"Suspected Kurdish rebels kill 5 in Istanbul blast; Bomb targeted military bus; security boosted" by Selcan Hacaoglu, Associated Press | June 23, 2010

ANKARA, Turkey — Kurdish rebels detonated a remote-controlled bomb in Istanbul yesterday, killing five people and wounding 12 on a bus carrying military personnel and their families, officials said.

Authorities increased security across Turkey, fearing more attacks.

The dead included the 17-year-old daughter of an officer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. The bombing raised the number of Turkish soldiers killed in rebel attacks since Friday to 17.

The Kurdistan Freedom Falcons, an offshoot of the autonomy-seeking Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, claimed responsibility for the attack, the pro-Kurdish Firat News agency reported. The group operates in Turkish cities and has claimed several deadly bombings in past years.

It's always the same old script when it comes to "terrorists!"

See what bucking USrael will do to you, world!?

The last major bomb attack in the city was in 2007, when 17 people were killed. Authorities increased security across the nation, fearing new Kurdish rebel suicide attacks or bombings in tourist resorts and cities.

Energy Minister Taner Yildiz yesterday said security along two major oil pipelines running from Central Asia and Iraq was also improved.

Just wanted you to know the underlying motivations for many things there. It is one of the interests the corporate press represents.

The rebels repeatedly blew up the Iraqi oil pipeline in the past, cutting oil flow to world markets for days.

Until Obama gets his darn global fart tax, dammit!

Rebels fighting for autonomy in the country’s Kurdish-dominated southeast region have dramatically intensified their attacks this month after threatening to expand their war to cities in the west of the country....

How VERY INTERESTING in light of the RECENT FLOTILLA FIASCO for ISRAEL!

And how else can the Zionist power structure get after them?

"Turkey tightens Internet control" by Suzan Fraser, Associated Press | June 26, 2010

ANKARA, Turkey — The controversy is a setback for Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government, which won plaudits for democratic reforms but now stands accused of placing Turkey in the same class as countries already notorious for tight Internet controls....

Even for Turkey, exercising control of the Internet is not new.

It's "not new" for any government because they are even trying to do it here.

The country began blocking access to websites in 2007, after parliament adopted a law against cyber crime in an effort to curb child porn, prevent the dissemination of terrorist propaganda, and stamp out illegal gambling. Websites deemed disrespectful of Turkey’s founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and of religious beliefs were also outlawed.

Can't say I don't agree with a couple of them, and as for the others, we know who is behind them.

So do the Turks:

ANKARA, Turkey — Turkey has closed its airspace to some Israeli military flights after a deadly raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship, the Turkish prime minister and officials said yesterday. An official said civilian commercial flights were not affected.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters in Toronto that Turkey imposed a ban on Israeli flights after the May 31 raid on a Turkish ship that was part of a six-vessel international aid flotilla, according to the state-run Anatolia news agency. The prime minister, who is in Canada to attend a summit of the Group of 20 major industrial and developing nations, did not elaborate.

A Turkish government official said, however, that the ban was for Israeli military flights and that commercial flights were not affected. It was not a blanket ban and each flight request would be assessed case-by-case, the official added. The official spoke on condition of anonymity, in line with government rules that bar officials from speaking to journalists without prior authorization.

On Sunday, Israel’s Yediot Ahronot newspaper reported that Turkey had not allowed a plane carrying Israeli military officers, en route to a tour of memorial sites in Auschwitz, Poland, to fly over Turkish airspace.

Oh, yeah, that was a REAL STICK in the ZIONIST EYE!!

Release the KURDISH!!!!

The transport plane, with more than 100 officers on board, was forced to make a detour, the paper said.

I sense anger in that plane.

International criticism of the May 31 raid forced Israel and Egypt to ease movement of people and goods across Gaza’s land borders.

Egypt did it willingly after what Israel did, but I don't want to quibble over endless distortions and lies today.

The naval blockade of the coastal territory, which Israel sees as necessary to keep weapons out, remains in place.

Yeah, the SAD FACT of the matter is NOTHING HAS REALLY CHANGED!

If it had, wouldn't Israel's public press organs being giving us glowing stories on how Palestinians are building themselves up after Israel was so benevolent and generous and lifted the siege?

Wouldn't we have heard the pounding of hammers on our television screens as we are told the "Gazans are getting back on their feet?"

Turkey’s government unofficially backed the flotilla’s attempt to challenge the Gaza blockade maintained by Israel, a country that was until recently one of Turkey’s close allies.

That's what happens when you continually stab someone in the back, Israel.

Don't you get it?

Turkey recalled its ambassador to Israel in response to the raid, which took the lives of eight Turks and one Turkish-American.

AS IF the kid was MORE TURKISH than American, right, jewsmedia?

I mean, COME ON!!!

And ask yourself this, readers:

Do you EVER SEE Israeli-American as a DESCRIPTION?

Case closed.

In Jerusalem yesterday, the chief investigator of the Israeli commission of inquiry into the raid announced....

ISRAEL INVESTIGATING ITSELF?

No thanks. I read enough s*** in my morning newspaper.

The incident occurred on board the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara, which was intercepted by helicopter-borne Israeli commandos as it sailed in a six-ship flotilla carrying pro-Palestinian activists and supplies to the Gaza Strip.

Were the HAITIAN RELIEF workers described as "pro-Haitian?"

No, they were JUST AID WORKERS and ACTIVISTS!

The IMPLICATION in my ZIONIST MSM is that the aid people are ANTI-ISRAEL!!

When you consider what they stand for these days, who in their right mind would be "pro-Israel" anyway?

Only other mass-murdering war machines as far as I can figure.

Five ships were commandeered without incident, but some of the 600 activists on the Mavi Marmara, owned by a Turkish Islamic charity, resisted, and the soldiers opened fire.

Of course, some were shot in the back and head several times as the Israelis came down guns blazing (the whole world has watched the videos), but you can take the distorted PoS background as truth, Americans.

Nice little dollop for you!

The soldiers, seven of whom were wounded, said their lives were in danger. Activists called their actions self defense.

Yeah, the poor.... pirates?

Although Israel has said the blockade is necessary to keep weapons out of the hands of Hamas, it has come under heavy international criticism over the raid. The appointment of the commission was meant to defuse widespread calls for an international inquiry.

You know, that is the REASON NO ONE LIKES THEM ANYMORE!!!!!

They are SO INSINCERE and ALWAYS HAVE SELF-SERVING ULTERIOR MOTIVES!!!

While the United States has voiced support, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon wants an international inquiry as well as the Israeli panel.

Hey, look!

He's straddling the barbed-wire Israeli fences!

UN is frikkin' useless. Another tool serving Israel.

And hey, readers, psssssssst....

"Turkish, Israeli officials hold secret talks" by New York Times | July 1, 2010

I already do not trust it.

TEL AVIV — The Turkish foreign minister and an Israeli Cabinet member met secretly yesterday in Europe to try to defuse the crisis that erupted after Israel’s deadly raid on a Turkish aid boat bound for Gaza....

Not a secret any longer as Israel's press office -- otherwise known as the New York Times -- puts out a release.

While it was unclear whether Israel and Turkey made any progress in resolving their differences, the meeting created a potentially damaging rift within the Israeli government.

You can't see my smile....

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said he had not been informed of the meeting, and he lashed out at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu....

Cannibalize yourselves, you f***s.

Netanyahu’s statement blamed technical reasons for the failure to notify Lieberman.

That excuse is getting a little old, ain't it?

Already used that when Biden got his face shat in by Israel.
