Musical Chairs in Massachusetts

And look who is going to lose out!

Mass. delegation begins playing a game of survival

None revealed plans to leave voluntarily, through retirement or a run for higher office. So the announcement yesterday was a prelude to an extended game of “Survivor.’’ If none depart of their own accord, two current members may be forced to compete for the same turf in 2012, with the loser getting thrown off the all-Democrat island.

And the next person voted off Survivor Massachusetts:

Mass. to lose House seat, influence on Capitol Hill

In Massachusetts — the only New England state to lose a congressional district — the redistricting debate will inevitably come down to a series of political power plays, many of which will take place behind closed doors....

Even if one or two seats were to open up, the Democrats who hold the state's two western districts may still be forced into one district.

I want to secede.

Did you hear the BG music stop?
