NEW DELHI — Growing Chinese assertiveness in the region has worried India and many other Asian nations....

Premier Wen Jiabao of China, who is visiting India this week for the first time since 2005, described his morning visit to the memorial of Mohandas K. Gandhi, the father of modern India and exemplar of Indian democracy, as a deeply emotional moment....   

"Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as [Gandhi] ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth" 

I'm finding it difficult these days, too (as blog editor's eyes well up with water).
