"Ex-candidate for Congress arrested

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana woman who ran unsuccessfully for US Congress last year was being held yesterday on charges that she made threats against judges and other officials on her Facebook account. Cheryl Allen, 51, of Martinsville, was arrested on eight felony counts of intimidation on Thursday, the same day authorities discovered the postings, which were apparently published on her page three days earlier. Morgan County Prosecutor Steve Sonnega — who said he was among those targeted — said that after discovering the threats, he decided to move quickly in part due to the Jan. 8 shootings in Arizona that wounded Representative Gabrielle Giffords and killed six others (AP)."

INDIANAPOLIS — The handling of an accident in which a police cruiser struck and killed a motorcyclist rocked Indianapolis and led to emotional allegations of a coverup. The case has been revived now that a new prosecutor has refiled drunken driving charges against the police officer driving the cruiser.

The question for families and victims is whether the charges filed last week will stick despite what police admit was a bungled investigation....  

In other words, a cover-up.
