"Police say traffic stop yields drugs, ammunition
Brookline police stopped a Mansfield man with an expired inspection sticker on his vehicle Friday afternoon and found more than a pound of hashish, police said. Michael Simeone, 23, was stopped near 224 Washington St. at 4:20 p.m., police Lieutenant Philip Harrington said in an e-mail. Police found evidence of marijuana and searched the vehicle, finding more than a pound of hashish, which they valued at $10,000, police said in a statement. Police also said they seized an ammunition magazine with nine rounds of 9mm bullets, less than an ounce of marijuana, more than $1,900 in cash, two cell phones, and a grinder. Simeone was charged with possession of ammunition; possession of a Class C drug, the hashish; and possession of a Class C drug with intent to distribute."
