Workin' at Dunkin' is Dangerous

And it is just about time for me to get my coffee and paper....

"Dunkin’ Donuts in Raynham robbed; 11th shop hit this summer" by Jasper Craven |  Globe Correspondent, August 16, 2013

A Dunkin’ Donuts shop in Raynham was robbed Wednesday, marking the 11th holdup of a Dunkin’ Donuts location in Eastern Massachusetts since June.

The suspect entered the store at 1701 Broadway through the drive-through window at about 8:30 p.m., Raynham police said.

He brandished a gun, took money from a cash drawer, and ordered employees onto the floor.

After the string of robberies at Dunkin’ Donuts locations this summer, the coffee chain offered a $2,500 reward Friday for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.

The Dunkin’ robberies occurred at Dunkin’ Donuts shops in Newton, West Roxbury, Westwood, Norwood, Canton, Walpole, Plainville, Norton, North Attleborough, Raynham, and Easton, police said.

Police were hesitant to connect all 11 robberies to one suspect, but a number of similarities exist among them.

The suspect was caught on camera during some of the robberies and is always wearing dark clothes that cover his body and much of his face.

In each of the robberies, the suspect fled on foot, police said.

Anyone with information on the heists is asked to call the Canton Police Department....
