Nigerian Honeymoon

That is what usually happens after a wedding, right?

I'll give you one guess where they are going:

"Sudanese woman sentenced to death for apostasy" by Mohammed Saeed and Hamza Hendawi | Associated Press   May 16, 2014

KHARTOUM, Sudan — A pregnant Sudanese woman who married a Christian man was sentenced to death Thursday after she refused to recant her Christian faith, her lawyer said.

And when she went to get a divorce the Muslims said no, right? Then whipped her and drank her blood.

Sigh. It's anecdotal, and yet it is not for anyone can check it, but I'm sick of my paper being filled with the terrorist Muslims at literally every turn.

Meriam Ibrahim, whose father was Muslim but mother was an Orthodox Christian from Ethiopia, was convicted of ‘‘apostasy’’ on Sunday and given four days to repent and escape death, said lawyer Al-Shareef Ali al-Shareef Mohammed.

Yeah, Ethiopia is one of the few Christian-majority countries in Africa and has also acted as a U.S. proxy in Somalia while committing war crimes externally and internally (I don't blame you if you don't know who are the Ogaden).

The 26-year-old, who is eight months pregnant, was sentenced after that grace period expired, Mohammed said.

Amnesty International condemned the sentence, calling it ‘‘abhorrent.’’ The US State Department said it was ‘‘deeply disturbed’’ by the sentencing and called on the government to respect the right to freedom of religion.

Then think of it as a third-trimester abortion. I'm sure you guys are all for that.

I find it so interesting that this comes after a peace pact was signed (then violated, but no sanction), and when the head of that department is calling for troop deployments.

Mohammed called the conviction rushed and legally flawed since the judge refused to hear key defense witnesses and ignored constitutional provisions on freedom of worship and equality among citizens.

Ibrahim and Daniel Wani married in a formal church ceremony in 2011 and have a son, 18-month-old Martin, who is with her in jail. The couple run several businesses south of Khartoum.

Sudan’s penal code criminalizes the conversion of Muslims into other religions, which is punishable by death.

As in many Muslim nations, Muslim women in Sudan are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, though Muslim men can marry outside their faith. By law, children must follow their father’s religion.

Sudan introduced Islamic Shariah laws in the early 1980s, a move that contributed to the resumption of an insurgency in the mostly animist and Christian south of Sudan.

The south seceded in 2011 to become the world’s newest nation, South Sudan.

Several Sudanese have been convicted of apostasy in recent years, but they escaped execution by recanting their new faith.

I don't want to be the one to say it, but you propagandists are waving the woman card around way too often and in way too many places right now. Are you guys really that desperate? Is the whole thing falling apart so rapidly you have to resort to shrieking and screeching about women being abused and mistreated so they can be liberated by AmeriKan bombs?

Okay, got the hotel room courtesy of the NYT:

"Nigerian military’s ability to rescue girls questioned; White House under pressure to aid hostages" by Eric Schmitt and Brian Knowlton | New York Times   May 16, 2014

WASHINGTON — Obama administration officials on Thursday publicly questioned whether the Nigerian military is able to rescue more than 260 schoolgirls abducted last month by the extremist group Boko Haram, even with international help, giving added impetus to a growing social media campaign supported by some members of Congress calling for the United States to do more to free the hostages.

Never mind that is all a 100% hoax and propaganda campaign. Girls were released, government recanted the announcement, and it's been one big lie ever since -- all because Nigeria was cozying up to China and looking to become a regional power.

You know, like that long dead Libyan guy.

The wide attention the kidnappings have received and the calls to take action to locate and save the girls has made the Pentagon increasingly uneasy that it might be ordered to send in commandos to undertake a mission it regards as unacceptably risky.

Look at this wonderful stuff the NYT left in the room.

Just by raising the event or action -- even the thought Pentagon won't like it, but they'll do it if ordered by the dictator -- proves its on the drawing board ready to be activated. They weren't going to invade Iraq for all these months, either.

Though the administration quickly offered its help to President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, the United States has not sent troops, and is unlikely to do so, in part because the girls are not believed to all still be together, and because of the inherent risks in attempting such a large-scale rescue.

Now they are backing off with lame-ass excuses!!

So after the video was shot they were moved out of the forest?

And forget the no troops, they have already sent in "advisors," FBI agents, and what have you.

“At this point, we’re not actively considering the deployment of US forces to participate in a combined rescue mission,” the White House spokesman, Jay Carney, said Wednesday.

I'm waiting for the "but."

Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, administration officials Thursday offered an unusually candid and public assessment of the Nigerian military.

That would be a first from this administration.

“We’re now looking at a military force that’s, quite frankly, becoming afraid to even engage,” said Alice Friend, the Pentagon’s principal director for African affairs. “The Nigerian military has the same challenges with corruption that every other institution in Nigeria does.”

Meaning we will have to send in those who ARE WILLING TO ENGAGE, American boys and girls!!

Who else in this world will have the bravery to ENGAGE the terrorists and prop up the sagging U.S. empire and its currency note?

The testimony also served as an opportunity for administration officials to preempt Republican criticism that the White House was slow to respond to the crisis.

Oh, we are going to get political bric-a-crap now. Not a swift using move using the "toilet" on honeymoon not, especially without flushing.

The problem, they said, rested more with Nigerian officials who ignored past US warnings to soften brutal tactics that only fueled Boko Haram’s insurgency.

Are you kidding?

This from the same government that ignored multiple warnings from many countries regarding the 9/11 inside job and also ignored Russian warnings regarding the framed patsies for the Marathon bombing hoax.

And since when has the United States advocated taking it easy on "terrorists?" Only if they are THEIR OWN!

US surveillance aircraft, both manned and unmanned, are making flights over the heavily forested region in northeastern Nigeria where the girls are believed to be held.

Oh, so the DRONES are FLYING over NIGERIA! Mission accomplished! I suspect this story will begin to fade soon.

So far, there are few if any clues about the girls’ location.

The administration has sent about 30 specialists from the State Department, the FBI, and the Pentagon to advise Nigerian officials.

But no actual troops, uh-huh. Yeah, this smells so Vietnam. We got advisors and consultants in there, not troops.

About half are military personnel with medical, intelligence, counterterrorism, and communications skills. Two officers with experience supporting a mission in Uganda to track down the Lord’s Resistance Army, another rebel force, have joined the effort.

But they are not troops. Call 'em whatever you want. They are not troops.

Also see:

Sorry to bruise your perception of this altruistic administration.

Even as terrorist groups throughout the world have engaged in more kidnappings for ransom to finance their operations, Pentagon officials have worried that the success in killing Osama bin Laden and a movie like “Captain Phillips,” which depicted the capture and killing of Somali pirates, has placed unrealistic expectations on US authorities.

OMG! Living up to the lying propaganda has now become a burden. Poor Pentagon and US government! The propaganda has been too successful -- NOT!

Readers, this RANK ROT PROPAGANDA and FICTION has become DISGUSTINGLY OFFENSIVE -- and the Pentagon complaining is ruining the honeymoon.

"Nigeria leader’s trip to girls’ village canceled" by Adam Nossiter | New York Times   May 17, 2014

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria — A first visit by Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, to the village from which nearly 300 girls were abducted by Boko Haram was abruptly canceled Friday because of security fears, according to an official in the president’s entourage.

Afraid to engage or impotent. That's going to disappoint the groom.

The official said security could not be guaranteed at the village of Chibok, which is 80 miles from this state capital. The road passes through territory largely controlled by Boko Haram; villages along it bear the traces — burned schools, empty housesof earlier Boko Haram attacks.

Jonathan’s visit was expected to have symbolic import after weeks in which he has been accused of neglecting the abductions, even though his reaction to it has been consistent with earlier government responses through nearly five years of attacks by Boko Haram.

So the economic conference must be over. You know, the Davos of Africa meeting.

The federal government in Abuja has generally treated the Boko Haram insurgency as a regional problem confined to the country’s northeast. A worldwide outcry over the girls’ kidnapping on April 14 has forced an abrupt change in that approach.

Hmmmmmm!

CUI BONO?

There are mounting concerns outside of Nigeria that government forces are in poor shape to confront the militants.

You know, the war foreplay has spoiled the mood.

“We’re now looking at a military force that’s, quite frankly, becoming afraid to even engage,” Alice Friend, the Pentagon’s principal director for African affairs, told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington on Thursday.

Wow, deja vu. And I thought Nigeria was an English colony at one time.

“The Nigerian military has the same challenges with corruption that every other institution in Nigeria does,’’ she said. “Much of the funding that goes to the Nigerian military is skimmed off the top, if you will.”

We are number one in that department, America! USA! USA! USA!

The Nigerian president is due to attend a meeting Saturday of regional leaders, hosted by France, that is expected to discuss a joint approach to Boko Haram. Until now there has been little cooperation among Nigeria, Benin, Niger, Cameroon, and Chad; members of the Islamist group move with relative freedom across the region’s porous borders.

And it just got a shove, huh?

The United States, the European Union and Britain will also be represented, according to a statement from the Nigerian presidency.

The talks “will give special attention to the coordination and intensification of efforts to curtail the destabilizing activities of Boko Haram in Nigeria and neighboring countries in the wake of the recent abduction of schoolgirls from Chibok, Borno state,” the statement said.

The summit meeting in Paris “was Mr. Goodluck’s wish, and he expressed it in a recent phone conversation with Mr. Hollande,” an official from the Élysée Palace said, referring to President François Hollande of France.

He wants to hold on to power. Goodluck!

“We aren’t in a military phase, but the goal of this summit is to prevent the expansion of Boko Haram in neighboring countries,” said the official, who declined to be quoted by name under French government sourcing rules. “The idea is to establish a stronger cooperation between countries in the region because they are not used to working together, and it is the first time that they’re all at the same table on security questions.”

The militaries of the bordering nations have widely differing capabilities, with that of Chad usually deemed by far the most efficient. A striking demonstration of this was the role the Chadian army played in pushing back jihadists in Mali, aided by the French, in 2013.

But so far they have not taken up the fight against Boko Haram, which has been left in the uncertain hands of the Nigerian military.

But not for long.

"Bombs kill 10 in Nairobi market" Associated Press   May 17, 2014

NAIROBI — Two bombs exploded in a market in Kenya’s capital on Friday, killing 10 people and injuring 70 as hundreds of British tourists were evacuated from a coastal area where Islamic extremists have operated.

Nairobi Police Chief Benson Kibue, who announced the casualty figures, said two improvised explosive devices detonated in a market area near downtown Nairobi with one bomb damaging a minivan used for public transportation.

TUI Travel, which owns the British tourism companies Thomson and First Choice, evacuated customers on flights Thursday and Friday and canceled all flights to the coastal city of Mombasa until October. The British government had urged British citizens to leave Mombasa and nearby beach towns.

The United States and Britain were among several nations renewing warnings of possible terror attacks.

Earlier this week, the United States warned for the first time that the embassy itself is taking new steps to increase security ‘‘due to recent threat information regarding the international community in Kenya.’’ Al Qaeda detonated a massive bomb by the US Embassy in Nairobi in 1988, killing more than 200 people.

NEXT DAY UPDATE:

"Summit focuses on Boko Haram funds, arms, training" by Lori Hinnant | Associated Press   May 18, 2014

PARIS — Boko Haram has ample funds, highly sophisticated weaponry, and advanced training with some of the world’s most experienced terrorists, the French president said Saturday as he and African leaders grappled with how to combat the Islamic extremist group.

Obviously trained by and armed by western intelligence agencies then.

The summit was intended to forge a plan to free 276 schoolgirls being held hostage by Boko Haram.

Intelligence officials from the United States, Europe, and Africa shared information at the meeting, while heads of state and top diplomats tackled policy.

The honeymoon with this article is already over. It's a pile of public relations propaganda pre$$ release.

Hours after two more attacks in Boko Haram strongholds — one in Nigeria that left a village torched and 40 people dead and another in Cameroon — the leaders agreed to improve policing of frontiers, share intelligence, and trace the weapons and cash that are the group’s lifeblood.

You know, with the NSA scooping up every speck of electronic communication and with satellites recording every damn movement down here, how could that go on?

It went on for the same reason Hitlery Clinton worked so hard to keep Boko off the groups of terrorist list: they are OUR GUYS, Americans!! WakeTF up on Sunday!

‘‘This group is armed with heavy weapons of an unimaginable sophistication and the ability to use them,’’ said President Francois Hollande of France.

He said the weapons came from chaotic Libya, and the training took place in Mali before the ouster of its Al Qaeda-linked Islamist leaders. As for the money, Hollande said its origins were murky.

I had to laugh when I saw murky. Murky is a word they use to cover up something. In this case, it is the fact that the funding is coming from Saudi Arabia and other oil-rich Sunni sheikdoms.

As for where the weapons came from, either the U.S. CIA facilitated the transfer (we know they did, and I'm sick of going back, going back, having to dig up links and stories when it is the new$paper that is the obfuscating liar), or it's a LOSS despite the claims of the war pre$$ and administration. No other way to describe it. The victory over Liby enabled terrorism?

‘‘Boko Haram is acting clearly as an Al Qaeda operation,’’ said President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, who had only reluctantly accepted outside help after years of insisting the group was a local problem.

Oh, no, ha, ha, ha, ha!

They MAY WELL INDEED PIN a NUCLEAR FALSE FLAG on the Nigerian chimera

Cameroon has become increasingly involved. The attack late Friday against a Chinese engineering firm’s camp left at least 10 people missing and one person dead.

How come radical Islamist groups and militants always attack the very people that are the enemy of USrael? Isn't that weird? They attack other Muslims, Chinese, even Christians, but no Americans or Jews. Real weird.

The camp was in the same nearly trackless parkland where the girls were first spirited away after an attack on their school in northern Nigeria.

Yeah, but I'm waiting for the "but."

Hollande said the effort to combat Boko Haram will involve sharing intelligence, protecting borders, and quick action in a crisis.

Ah-huh. Get the forces in place for the upcoming false flag, and then quick action! Just like the Afghan war plan being on Bush's desk when 9/11 happened.

An intelligence cell involving French, British, and American agents is already operating in Nigeria.

Setting up the false flag as I type!
