BEIRUT — The United States struck an Al Qaeda gathering in northern Syria, killing dozens of militants, US officials said Friday. They said they found no basis for reports that civilians were killed.
How could they possibly know?
Syrian opposition activists said around 40 people, mostly civilians, were killed in a mosque in the area, accusing the US-led coalition of carrying out the airstrike Thursday evening.
Now these are the guys that are FRIENDS of the U.S. and THEY ARE CLAIMING IT HAPPENED!

Friday prayers were canceled across rebel-held parts of northern Syria after the airstrike that opposition activists and paramedics said struck the crowded Omar Ibn al-Khattab Mosque in the Jeeneh district in Aleppo province, killing and wounding dozens of people, some of whom were left trapped under the rubble.
US Army Major Josh Jacques, a US Central Command spokesman, said the United States did not target or strike a mosque.
‘‘We targeted an Al Qaeda gathering across the street from a mosque. The mosque does not appear to be damaged following the strike,’’ he said.

Based on the recent 40% "success" rate regarding the raid on the Syrian air base, it's looking pretty good that they did hit it. I mean, if what they claim they hit was just across the street.... !!!!!!
A Pentagon spokesman, Eric Pahon, said US surveillance of the target area indicated evening prayers had concluded before the attack. He said the building that was struck was a ‘‘partially constructed community meeting hall’’ that Al Qaeda leaders used to gather and ‘‘as a place to educate and indoctrinate Al Qaeda fighters.’’
‘‘Initial assessments based upon post-strike analysis do not indicate civilian casualties,’’ Pahon said. He said the Pentagon would investigate any credible allegations it received.

But Bahaa al-Halaby, an Aleppo-based opposition activist, said the Thursday night airstrike hit as about 250 people had gathered at the mosque for prayers or to attend a religious lesson. Mosques are usually crowded on Thursday night ahead of Friday, the day of communal prayers in the Muslim weekend.
‘‘This was one of the worst massacres committed in the area,’’ Halaby said.

An Islamic networking group, Advocacy and Intimation, is known to be active at the mosque where religious lessons are offered to the local population, according to Halaby and the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which also described the attack as a ‘‘massacre.’’
The Observatory said the airstrike on the mosque in Jeeneh killed 46 while the Local Coordination Committees, another monitoring group, said 40 were killed.
Such discrepancies are not uncommon in the immediate aftermath of attacks in Syria.

BEIRUT — Warplanes struck rebel-held parts of Syria on Saturday, hitting a women’s prison and a clinic, killing and wounding scores of people, amid clashes on multiple fronts between government forces and insurgent groups in some of the worst violence the country has witnessed in weeks, opposition activists said Saturday.
The airstrikes, of which some activists said included Russian air raids, concentrated on the rebel-held northwestern province of Idlib, the central province of Hama, and suburbs of the capital Damascus that have come under attack by insurgents over the past week.

One of the airstrikes hit a main street in the Damascus suburb of Hamouriyeh, killing at least 16 people and wounded more than 50, activists said. The airstrikes caused wide destruction in the area.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the airstrikes killed 16, including eight women and children, and wounded more than 50. The Local Coordination said 18 were killed and dozens were wounded.
Good thing it was implied that it was the Russians.
Both groups said some people are still missing, and that the death toll could rise.
‘‘They have been hitting Hamouriyeh for days but today they struck an area packed with civilians,’’ said Awis al-Shami of The Civil Defense search-and-rescue group, also known as the White Helmets, via text message.

The US-led coalition said it had no indications an airstrike had hit civilians, but in its daily report on coalition strikes, the US military acknowledged that strikes were carried out in the area. It said that on Tuesday, coalition warplanes carried out 19 airstrikes — an unusually high number for a single day — on a range of Islamic State facilities near the city of Raqqa.
The attack, which hit a school in the town of Mansoura, where civilians had taken shelter Tuesday night, was the second time in a week that Syrians had accused the United States of involvement in a strike that killed dozens of noncombatants.

Forty-nine people died last week when US warplanes fired on a target in Al Jinah, a village in western Aleppo province. US officials said the attack had hit a building where Al Qaeda operatives were meeting, but residents said the warplanes had struck a mosque where hundreds of people had gathered for a weekly religious meeting.
The US military said it was investigating whether civilians had been killed in that airstrike.
In Raqqa, the Islamic State’s self-declared capital, hundreds of people who fled their homes in other parts of Syria were sheltering in the school, according to residents and to the group Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently, a team of activists originally from Raqqa who monitor the conflict.
The two airstrikes have raised concerns about whether the US military has become less careful, or less selective, in its targeting.

The attack came as US forces took a new step in their campaign against the Islamic State, also known by the acronyms ISIS or ISIL. On Wednesday, US Special Forces troops and members of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the name used by the Kurdish and Arab forces working with the US military in northeastern Syria, were dropped into territory held by the Islamic State near the Tabqa Dam on the Euphrates River, as more Kurdish forces crossed the river to reinforce them. The school in the town of Mansoura was not far from that area.
Airstrikes during the Obama administration also led to high civilian tolls, most notably during an operation last year in Manbij, when the city was held by Islamic State militants.
Khaled al-Homsi, an activist from Palmyra who opposes both the Syrian government and the Islamic State, said that among the displaced people at the school were families from Palmyra, which has changed hands several times in recent years, switching between pro-government and Islamic State forces.
Residents of Palmyra, an ancient city known for its Roman stone amphitheater, say they have endured bombing by government warplanes, harsh treatment and summary killings by the Islamic State, and reprisals and looting by pro-government forces retaking the area.

How is it that Trump has lost all credibility with me? I predicted a Trump win months before, and I'm going to give you a brief synopsis of how I saw the campaign unfold in the latter stages after my absence.
I had intended to post a Halloween wrap-up; however, by that time I could no longer take not only the Globe's anti-Trump bashing, but it had turned into outright hatred (it's lessened in the last week, believe it or not). I did not yet realize the scenario that was being sketched out for us and the layers upon layers of deception.
The day after he won I realized it was layers upon layers of narrative to conceal the installation of the first Zionist crime boss. Comey was an excuse and reason and the timing was just about perfect. If you think about it, the Zionist string-pullers must have cut a deal with Trump weeks before; however, the genius of it is those same interests their media mouthpieces were still assuring Clinton of victory (thus causing a traumatic event for her voters, something that can then be used against you).
Then there are the Wikileaks, wherever they came from. Even the alt-media that covered it didn't notice one crucial component: yes, their was Clinton Foundation corruption and skullduggery. They mentioned all the payoffs from anti-women, anti-gay Middle East sheikdoms (you know who they are) as well as many African nations. What was missing is any Jewish or Israel payments, meetings, anything. It's the clearest giveaway that Wikileaks is a CIA/Mossad honeypot (not that they need it). Bradley, 'er, Chelsea (boy, did they do a number on that kid's mind while in confinement; I don't say it much, but Obama deserves credit on that one) Manning found out the hard way, Snowden escaped, and Trump can't undo it.
The third thing is the ma$$ media admitting they were wrong.... therefore, the election result must be right (despite the political shenanigans later)! Remember, this is the same media that fell on its sword to bring you the lies leading to the invasion of Iraq that has led to the deaths of millions. I'm sure being "wrong" about an election is easy peasy, and it feeds into the layers upon layers of false narrative and opposition.
One more thing before moving on from the results: Clinton conceding so quickly signaled orders from above. The Zionist told her you will stand down. Her allegedly having more votes (fraud on both sides, folks, elections are now rigged shams) is to have a certain leverage against Trump and gas up her supporters to view him as illegitimate.
Okay, after that I was like Les above, wanted to give the guy a chance and even approved of some early moves; however, then this whole Deep State political distraction sh** started. What a show is that! The papers pretend to be against him and we get a lot of smoke, sound, and fury. Obama spied on Trump? Here's news for you: his government spied on us all! This elite political, you played dirty is distasteful sh**.
Meanwhile, this new guy and his Pentagon have been bombing all over the place since the moment he got in. Syria is only the latest, and it's likely that we will see an attack on North Korea in the not to distant future. I'm told Trump was supposed to have sent a message through the Chinese over dinner (Trump was feasting while his bombs rained down). I might have been a sympathizer, not supporter, because of the attacks on him but no more.
