"Car bombing kills 11 in northern Iraq" by Associated Press | April 16, 2009

BAGHDAD - A car bomb exploded yesterday near a government security convoy in the northern oil city of Kirkuk, killing at least 11 guards and wounding about 20 other people, police said.

The city is the center of Iraq's vast northern oil fields and the focus of an ethnic power struggle. The majority Kurds want to incorporate the area into their self-ruled northern region, and other ethnic groups want to remain under central government control.

Which just happens to be where the Mossad spy teams are. What a coinkydink!

The parked car exploded as a four-vehicle convoy of the state-owned Northern Gas Company was driving by, said police spokesman Brigadier General Sarhat Qadir. All the dead were members of a government security agency that provides guards to the gas company. The wounded included 13 guards and eight civilians, Qadir said.

A sure giveaway.

Several shops, buildings, and private cars were also damaged in the explosion. Al Qaeda and other extremist groups operate in northern Iraq and have all used car bombings as a tactic. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.

"Suicide bomber attacks deep inside Iraqi base; conflicting claims on death toll" by New York Times | April 17, 2009

BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber disguised in an Iraqi army uniform blew himself up inside an air base in Anbar province yesterday in what Iraqi army and intelligence officials described as a grave breach of security.

STINK.

The officials, however, provided starkly conflicting reports of casualties. Three army officials in Anbar, west of Baghdad, said the attack killed 15 soldiers and officers, contradicting official claims by commanders and the nation's Ministry of Defense that no one died except the bomber. The tally of wounded ranged from as few as 17 to more than 50.

Double stink!

It was the second attack on security forces in Iraq in two days, punctuating a spike in bombings that have killed more than 70 people this month....

Well, it looks like we will just have to STAY PUT with 140,000 occupiers, 'eh, 'murka?

The attack yesterday took place just before lunchtime at Tamouz Air Base in Habbaniya, one of the largest and oldest military posts in Iraq. It was established by the British in the 1920s.

Officials said the bomber wore a vest or belt of explosives, which he detonated as soldiers and officers of Iraq's 1st Division gathered for lunch after morning exercises. While Iraqi troops are routinely targeted by bombings, often carried out by men disguised in uniforms, few attackers have succeeded in penetrating so deeply into a restricted military base.

Which makes the MSM COVER STORY REEK to high heaven!!!!

And let's mix it up a bit, the propagandists must have thought; can't go with suiciders every day.

"Mortar rounds hit Baghdad suburb" by Associated Press | April 18, 2009

BAGHDAD - Mortar rounds hit a Shi'ite enclave south of Baghdad yesterday, killing at least four people in the latest sign of violence returning to areas that US and Iraqi forces have considered largely stable.

The attack in the Jisr Diyala district, although small compared with recent bombings, reinforced worries that security forces may need to shift attention back to areas that have been relatively quiet in recent months even as they battle to control the last insurgent strongholds north of Baghdad in Diyala and Mosul.

We can't leave, 'murka!!!

It also raised concerns about Iraq's ability to maintain security key areas after the US military withdraws from major cities by the end of June....

I guess we won't be able to now, huh, what with all the questions, etc.

Mohammed Khazim, 54, who was treated for wounds to his left leg and hand:

"We are surprised with this attack because things have been calm in our neighborhood recently. I do not understand why they would attack a civilian area that has no military posts at all."

I do.

Mortar barrages on Baghdad's fortified Green Zone were common last year, but such attacks have dropped off considerably in recent months. It comes as Iraqi and US forces face a spike in violence, including several high-profile bombings....

Been hearing the SAME SHOP-WORN SHIT from the lying AmeriKan jewsmedia since before this war crimianl invasion and occupation, and I'm tired of it!!!

Yup, everyday something now after they ignored the place for weeks and months.

Hey, different agenda then.

Btw, MSM, what about the people WE ARE KILLING, huh?

Why do I NEVER SEE ANY CURRENT REPORTS on THAT?
