Yes, he sure does!
"F-16 has engine damage after flying through ash
Several NATO F-16 fighters flew through a cloud of ash sometime after the volcano erupted, and one had engine damage, officials said yesterday.
Bo Redeborn, an official of the European air traffic agency, said the F-16 belonged to Belgium. Officials have not said where or when the incident happened. A Western diplomat said glasslike deposits were found inside the plane’s engine after a patrol through European airspace. Volcanic ash tends to stick to a jet engine’s interior parts, such as the turbines, where it melts to form a glassy coating that restricts air flow.
I'm sorry, readers, but it does feel like a higher cosmic force at work.

"Britain sends warships to rescue stranded citizens
Britain sent Royal Navy warships yesterday to rescue those stranded across the English Channel by the volcanic ash cloud.
That isn't exactly a military deployment, is it?
Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal and assault ship HMS Ocean were being sent across the Channel. A third ship was sent to Spain to pick up soldiers trying to get back to Britain after a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Which means they are not running soldiers back, are they?
Okay, on to the massive focus of the MSM:
"Travelers hit the road for a chance to fly away

Frustration is mounting for those stuck at airports
Legions of travelers around the world were simply stranded.
The Port Authority parked trailers with shower stalls between two terminals. Residents of the airport’s mini-encampments brushed their teeth and hair in restrooms.
I hope they didn't get them from FEMA.
Tensions boiled over at Incheon International Airport in South Korea, where 30 frustrated passengers blocked a Korean Air ticketing counter and demanded that officials arrange travel to anywhere in Europe.
If this doesn't let up soon you are going to see a lot more of this kind of thing.
Chloe Paull, a British teacher on her way home after a trip to Japan, was supposed to be back at work yesterday. She has been stuck in South Korea since Saturday and said

"As air clears, delays still snarl many; Firms alter plans; travelers wearied" by Katie Johnston Chase and Shana Wickett, Globe Staff | Globe Correspondent | April 20, 2010
European airspace is gradually opening up after five days of mass flight cancellations, but the ash cloud from a volcanic eruption in Iceland is still wreaking havoc on travelers and, increasingly, on businesses that rely on European markets....
It's a tough trade-off; however, I'll take the slowing of the wars.
But a new volcanic eruption yesterday threatened to throw off plans to open London’s airports.
New England businesses that rely on European trade have also had to make adjustments, including a company that had to put 20,000 pounds of fish headed for Europe on ice and resell them, and a flower buyer that is now ordering buds from California after an order from the Netherlands got stuck in London.
I wish I could feel more sorrow for them; however, people are being killed in wars based on lies as I type this.
By mid-afternoon at Logan yesterday, some weary and frustrated travelers formed long queues at unoccupied ticket counters and stared eagerly at departure screens — their hopes fueled by news of a few Europe-bound flights....
Yeah, the MSM yo-yo isn't helping either.
Travelers’ despair aside, officials are considering the economic impact of the disruptions on Boston. Some are hoping that the loss of business from Marathon spectators who could not get here will be offset by those who can’t get out....

They sure give you the reed of hope when it comes to serving the agenda, don't they?
"As ash clears, some European flights resume; Test planes show no damage; airlines press to ease travel ban" by Arthur Max, Associated Press | April 19, 2010
AMSTERDAM — Major airlines that sent test flights into European air space found no damage yesterday from the volcanic ash that has paralyzed aviation over the continent, raising pressure on governments to ease restrictions that have thrown global travel and commerce into chaos.
Yes, mysterious forces are at work!
European air traffic could return to about 50 percent of its normal levels today if weather forecasters confirm that skies over half the continent are clearing of ash, the European Union said....
And then the F-16s came back with crap in their engines.
The skies over Europe remain unstable because the Icelandic volcano is still spewing ash capable of knocking out jet engines. Eighty percent of European airspace remained closed for a fourth day yesterday....
After the headline and lead-ins gave me such hope.
The microscopic but potentially menacing volcanic grit began closing airports from Ireland to Bulgaria on Thursday, stranding countless passengers and leaving cargo rotting in warehouses.
“It is clear that this is not sustainable,’’ EU Transport Commissioner Siim Kallas told reporters at the European capital in Brussels. “We cannot just wait until this ash cloud dissipates.’’
I'm sorry, readers, but I'm seeing the hand of a higher power here.
The ranks of stranded passengers, meanwhile, were growing, and many would be stuck for days even if restrictions were fully and immediately lifted....
Ash and grit from volcanic eruptions can damage a plane in various ways. The ash can sandblast a jet’s windshield, block fuel nozzles, contaminate the oil system and electronics, and plug the tubes that sense air speed. The greatest danger is to the engines, where melted ash can congeal on the blades and block the normal flow of air. There are no recorded instances of fatal aircraft crashes involving volcanic ash, though several have suffered damage, and some temporarily lost engine power.
Hey, if birds can knock them out of the sky then none of them should be going up.
And DON'T LOOK NOW, America, but it is HEADING YOUR WAY!!
"Despite lingering ash cloud, Europe eases airspace restrictions; Additional flights are expected to operate today" by Jill Lawless, Associated Press | April 20, 2010
LONDON — Europe began to emerge from a volcanic cloud yesterday, allowing limited air traffic to resume and giving hope to millions of travelers stranded around the world when ash choked the jet age to a halt....
Tired of the MSM jerk job yet?
I know one thing I'm not doing while stranded: read an AmeriKan newspaper.
Although skies were clearer over parts of the continent, the eruption from the Icelandic volcano that caused the five days of aviation chaos was sending more ash toward Britain, which could make it unlikely that London airports would reopen today....
SOMETHING trying to MAKE a POINT, don't you think?
Europe’s aviation industry — facing losses of more than $1 billion — criticized official handling of the disruption that grounded thousands of flights to and from the continent....
Now the BACKBITING STARTS!!
I'm not feeling sorry for airlines until they start blowing the whistle on the "terror" crap.
As long as they go along with that lie they will receive no sympathy (or patronage) here.
Millions of travelers have been stuck since the volcano under Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull glacier begun erupting April 14 for the second time in a month, spewing a vast cloud of ash that has drifted over most of northern Europe and is now spreading west.
(Cough) Excuse me?
The National Weather Service said it is unlikely that the ash would reach North America. A spokeswoman for Canada’s environmental department said part of the ash cloud was moving southwest of Iceland, but should not affect Canadian airports.

Only a higher power can be responsible for such an awesome sight.

And just think of this next time you are reading some whining by some traveler.
"Volcanic ash: Gaza and freedom of movement
Gaza, April 20, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) – Not far from this crisis, another disaster has been taking place in the Middle East for the past 4 years. It’s an Israeli-made disaster against the people of Palestine, both in Gaza and in the West Bank.
Tens of thousands of normal civilians are being seized and imprisoned in an open jail called Gaza. These people have never tasted the meaning of freedom. Whenever they try to travel - they can’t. Not because of a volcanic ash crisis, but simply because Israel says NO. Families are shattered in Gaza and abroad they never get united. It's as if your family is being separated, you can’t see your dad, sister, brother or mother for years! Israel violates all human basic rights by preventing people from traveling.
In a phone call with one of the trapped people in Gaza, Ahmed Abu Ali, age 24, I heard frustration, sadness and despair.
Abu Ali said: “I have been trying to attend my college in Egypt but I can’t travel. Its 2 years now! I have no freedom at all. Very strange to see how the world upset about the crisis of volcanic ashes while they are silent about our imprisonment. Europe, America, Britain are all partners in depriving us the freedom of movement. People who are trapped could feel us now, but their government could never.”
It’s shameful that the European Union is participating indirectly in imposing the siege on Gaza. The USA is backing and partially funding the Israeli siege as well, due to political reasons (collective punishment, which is illegal according to the Geneva Convention as well as unethical by all human standards). Innocent civilians are trapped, hungry and in need of life's basic, essential necessities.
Angry People
Muneer Al Rifi, age 34, a teacher in Gaza, mockingly commented on the issue of volcanic ash. “People in Europe are confused just because they can’t travel as the airlines are suspended. They are lucky enough! They share us the feeling of imprisonment now - but they are lucky as they still have enough food, fuel, power, internet and all basics while we barely have these things."
Clarifying more of what he means as lucky, Muneer said, “They are lucky because they are granted food, education, freedom, and relaxation. But, we are unlucky as we live in fear, hunger and constant Israeli bombings.”
More than 10 thousand people who wish to travel and have visas are trapped in Gaza. The siege and closure of crossings and passenger terminals in Rafah and Iretz are forcing them to 'live' in an open air prison. A great number of them are students while the rest are families’ employers.
Harsh Siege
In addition to the infringement on freedom of movement, people in Gaza are barely getting goods and food. The Israeli army only allows a few trucks to get into Gaza now, in contrast to the 700 trucks per day that were streaming into Gaza prior the siege.
Around 505 people died in Gaza because they were denied freedom of movement for treatment. Some of them died due to lack of medicines. EU, US, Britain and other countries are calling on Israel to end the siege, however, it's only lip service since no actual pressure has ever been made.
In the case of Iceland, the cause of the disaster is from a natural source: the earth's fluctuating lava flow which is making the volcano spew plumes of toxic smoke and ash, whereas in Gaza, the disaster is man-made by Israel and its allies, and thus, reversible immediately. If only the world were to demand a stop to the desperate, humanitarian crisis.

They simply are not getting the message I guess.
