Time For High Tea

I normally would not post letters to the editor because they got through the Zionist filter (like everything else) down at the Globe; however, these deserve a look:

"At Nevada rally, ‘the people of the real America’

MY WIFE and I were fortunate to attend the Tea Party Express rally in Searchlight, Nev., on Saturday.

The media have often characterized Tea Party supporters as anything but a grass-roots organization. They are supposedly organized by big business or special-interest groups. They are supposed to be populated by Republican operatives and political wonks.

From what I saw at the rally, that seemed far from the case.

We joined thousands of everyday Americans who parked at the side of the highway and walked two miles or more to a natural amphitheater in the middle of the desert — all to make our voices heard in protest of big government, big taxes, and the politicians who force them on us.

It was a gathering of young and old, families and singletons. Men and women carried their children and pushed strollers. We saw people with wheelchairs, walkers, bikes, motorcycles, and scooters.

The signs they carried weren’t mass produced in print shops. They were homemade.

There was no sea of purple SEIU T-shirts or groups of other unions pressing their own agendas.

It was the people of the real America.

Unlike Michelle Obama, who only became proud of her country two years ago, I have always been proud of my country and its accomplishments for good in the world.

But after Saturday, I’m a little bit more proud.

Well, they veered away on the last two sentences, but what would you expect in the propagandized U.S.?

"Time to bag group’s name

ACCORDING TO “The makings of a Boston Tea Party’’ (Joanna Weiss, Op-ed, March 27), many participants in today’s rallies have a genuinely democratic spirit, but they have been “hijacked’’ by celebrity fear-mongers who make them appear irrational and “paranoid.’’

There is a deeper misrepresentation. Worse, the headline reinforces it.

I would expect nothing less from the agenda-pushing Boston Globe.

The Boston Tea Party protested the extraction of money from the colonies to England. Today’s protests are against expenditures — stimulus, health care, and yes, even bailouts — made at home.

In 1773 the rallying cry was “no taxation without representation.’’ Today’s protesters have representation on local, state, and federal levels. Indeed, one major party cheers them on, some of its members speaking at their rallies.

For historical accuracy, a better comparison can be made to South Carolina’s efforts in the 1830s to nullify federal laws that would have weakened its slave economy. More than a century later Martin Luther King frequently described state and municipal Jim Crow laws as “nullification’’ of federal court decisions.

As a play for Tea Party support, Republicans’ pledge to repeal the new health care law is an echo of the past.

So let’s call these latest gatherings Nullification Parties. There’s something consistent in the name.

"Tea party stirs things up; Loose operation’s influence grows with voter discontent" by Stephanie Ebbert, Globe Staff | March 21, 2010

LOWELL — In front of that cobbled-together crowd — and a banner depicting a steaming red tea kettle ready to blow — stepped 13 of this season’s political hopefuls, including Republican candidate for governor, Charlie Baker....

All right, Charlie!!!

I would expect them to feel that way.

In the current upended political climate, the Tea Party members in Massachusetts — now claiming up to 8,000 believers and basking in the earth-shaking victory of US Senator Scott Brown — have the clout to make candidates come to them.

Candidates are showing up at events like this one across the state, even though the Tea Party’s loose confederation of activists has no membership rolls, no party apparatus, no candidates, and no money. Candidates do not know precisely what the Tea Party is or how its activists will vote in November. They just know they had better pay attention....

Tea Party activists — incited by the federal stimulus package, Wall Street bailouts, and federal health care legislation — began forming to protest taxes April 15 and to speak out against what they view as an expansion of government.

And what they have done through the decades has been...pretty nasty." -- Wake the Flock Up

Be prepared, protesters, and don't be fooled!

Local groups are planning demonstrations this April 15, and Varley is working with the national Tea Party Express on an April 14 rally in Boston that is expected to draw Sarah Palin and 10,000 to 20,000 participants.

Last week, Massachusetts activists took part in a nationwide effort against health care legislation by demonstrating outside about 20 congressional district offices in the Bay State. About 50 people stood outside US Representative Niki Tsongas’s office in Lowell, holding signs asking motorists to “Honk if you Oppose Obamacare.’’

How many?

Bye-bye, Nik.

And earlier this month, about 20 activists protested outside the Liberty Hotel in Boston when a fund-raiser for US Representative Carol Shea-Porter, a New Hampshire Democrat, attracted US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has championed health care legislation and criticized the Tea Party as a tool of the Republican Party....

Of course, we know who Pelosi is a tool of:

"We in Congress stand by Israel," the leader of the House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., assured Netanyahu at an all-smiles appearance before the cameras. "In Congress we speak with one voice on the subject of Israel."

Looking forward to saying goodbye to her as speaker.

What an embarrassing failure.

Others are only motivated by fiscal concerns. An array of complaints — about taxes, government, health care, abortion — crop up at any gathering of Tea Party activists.

"Tea party activists to mobilize in Reid’s Nevada hometown" by Michael R. Blood, Associated Press | March 27, 2010

LAS VEGAS — Tea party activists want to turn conservative anger over the health care overhaul into political muscle in November elections as they call thousands to the hardscrabble desert town that is home to Senate majority leader Harry Reid.

Related:
Reid the Racist

But he's a Democrat so its okay.

Sarah Palin is headlining the event today in Searchlight, about 60 miles from Las Vegas, and a strong turnout could help affirm the popularity of the loosely organized tea party movement and build momentum against Reid and other Democratic candidates who backed health care reform.

The national media lens will be focused on the former mining town, sending images across the country.

And we know what lens the MSM looks through (rhymes with), don't we?

Some worry it has the potential for violence: Bricks have been hurled through Democrats’ windows, and at least 10 members of Congress who voted for the bill have received threats. In the run-up to the health care vote, racial epithets aimed at black members of Congress were heard at protests attended by at least some tea party members.

I'm sorry, but I DO NOT BELIEVE IT, and IF IT DID HAPPEN, well....

No one is certain how many people will show up or what grievances they might bring. The crowd at the so-called conservative Woodstock could exceed Searchlight’s under-1,000 population by tenfold. Make sure you sig heil when you pass them, Tea-Partier.

So what will the end product look like this November?

"Election season tests tea party’s ideals; Supporters find it hard to get ‘pure,’ viable candidates" by Amy Gardner, Washington Post | April 4, 2010

Did you know the is ?

FROG JUMP, Tenn. — But for one important detail, Stephen Fincher could be a perfect “tea party’’ candidate: a gospel-singing cotton farmer from this tiny hamlet in western Tennessee, seeking to right the listing ship of Washington with a commitment to lower taxes and smaller government.

The detail? Fincher accepts about $200,000 in farm subsidies each year.

I smell something, don't you?

Some tea party activists say Fincher, a Republican candidate in Tennessee’s Eighth Congressional District, isn’t “pure’’ enough to deserve the backing of a movement built on the idea that government must spend less. But others have pledged their support....

As congressional primary campaigns gear up across the nation, tea party activists face some of their first big choices since coalescing last year in opposition to President Obama, health care overhaul, and growing federal spending: picking candidates.

In many cases, they will have to decide between purity and pragmatism, between ideals and organization. And their choices will provide clues to the long-term fate of the movement. Will mainstream Republicans, with their bigger budgets and more polished candidates, harness the tea party’s energy at the expense of home-grown activism? And for whom would that be a victory — the Republicans, the tea party, or both?

Either way, it will be a LOSS for the American people.

**************

That some were unconvinced illustrates the movement’s mistrust of centralized power.

That is the REAL MOVEMENT, not the JUMP on the BANDWAGON BULLS*** put forth by the Amerikan MSM!!

But if a dozen groups across Tennessee can’t collect money for billboards, how can they organize a successful election campaign or grow into a permanent political force?

With the VOTE?

I thought that was what it was ALL ABOUT here in AmeriKa!?

Now you are $aying no, it i$ not, M$M?

These activists mistrust Fincher because he is the anointed candidate of national Republicans and because of those farm subsidies.

I would not trust him, either!

And ever notice that no matter which letter is running Congress WARS, BANKS, ISRAEL, and CORPORATIONS are FULLY FUNDED?

Jim Tomasik, a leader of the Mid-South Tea Party in Cordova, Tenn., is heading perhaps the most organized effort to portray Fincher as a welfare-farmer who has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from other subsidy-receiving farmers.

“If Republicans are going to complain about subsidizing General Motors, that’s a drop in the bucket to farm subsidies,’’ Tomasik said. “But they’re backing candidates who are taking large amounts of money from the federal government. That’s hypocritical.’’

No, it's the s***-foolies of AmeriKan politics.

Donn Janes, an independent and self-described tea party candidate for the Eighth District seat, is also among Fincher’s critics. But the challenge of competing against a well-funded candidate — Fincher has raised nearly $1 million — was highlighted in Janes’s plea for support at the Tipton County Tea Party meeting, where he invited activists to a bowling alley fund-raiser. “If you can attend, that would be great,’’ Janes said. “I’m not one of those guys who has a ton of special interest money.’’

You GOT MY VOTE if I lived in your district!

"Caution urged over letters sent to governors; FBI asks police to tighten up state security" by Eileen Sullivan and Devlin Barrett, Associated Press | April 3, 2010

WASHINGTON — The FBI is warning police across the country that an antigovernment group’s call to remove governors from office could provoke violence.

:

"This is a phony COINTELPRO-style manufactured front group to help the government portray all dissenters as criminals, and the proof is simple. To the real patriot community, states' rights is a major issue, and with the exception of the obviously corrupt, state governors are seen as allies.
First there was the Michigan Hutaree Militia, in which the bomb was built by the FBI informant, and now this Guardians of the free Republics group shows up just when the media needs an excuse to ignore what the patriot movement are actually saying and portray them as a threat justifying a police crackdown." -- Wake the Flock Up

Yes, and the false-flagging FBI and its MSM patsy propaganda gets SICKENING after a while!

The group, called the Guardians of the Free Republics, wants to “restore America’’ by peacefully dismantling parts of the government, according to its website. It sent letters to governors demanding they leave office or be removed.

Yeah, but SOMEHOW our "public servants" don't seem to hear us.

Investigators do not see threats of violence in the group’s message, but they fear the broad call for removal of top state officials could lead others to act out violently.

What, the UNITED STATES INVADING ANOTHER COUNTRY AGAIN?

At least two states beefed up security in response.....

Well, THEY SHOULD KNOW; they are the ONES WHO SENT THEM!!!

Governors whose offices reported getting the letters included Jennifer Granholm of Michigan, Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Chet Culver of Iowa, Dave Heineman of Nebraska, Jim Gibbons of Nevada, Brad Henry of Oklahoma, Mike Rounds of South Dakota, Bob McDonnell of Virginia, and Gary Herbert of Utah, where officials stepped up security in response to the letter.

Oh, yeah?

In explaining the letters sent to the governors, the intelligence note says officials have no specific knowledge of plans to use violence, but they caution police to be aware in case other individuals interpret the letters “as a justification for violence or other criminal actions.’’

The FBI associated the letter withsovereign citizens,’’ most of whom believe they are free from all duties of a US citizen, like paying taxes or needing a government license to drive. A small number of these people are armed and resort to violence, according to the intelligence report.

That means ANYONE WHO DISAGREES with THIS GOVERNMENT!!!!

Last weekend, the FBI conducted raids on suspected members of a Christian militia in the Midwest that was allegedly planning to kill police officers. The Brookline proposal would allow police to levy a fine of $100 against party hosts and guests for the first incident and ramp it up to $300 for a subsequent violation, when landlords would be fined $300 and held liable, as well — unless they are actively working to evict the tenants.

Did you just hear city coffers go CHA-CHING, kiddo?

Brookline police already patrol student neighborhoods from Thursday through Sunday, work closely with college administrators, and distribute educational materials to students every September.
