And before I get the snarky emails saying bankers do not kill for profits, let me remind you wars get started by banks for profit, and both Lincoln and Kennedy were killed after trying to free Americans from the slavery of a private central bank, and the failed attempt to assassinate Andrew Jackson for the same reason. This is a staged incident to distract the media. This feels like a Columbine-style setup. No motive is given for why this guy pulled the trigger, but everyone is trying to milk this for all it is worth.
If the shooter had really intended to kill Congresswoman Giffords, he would have emptied the gun into her. Instead, he shot her once, then emptied the gun into the crowd to shoot and kill as many as possible. The goal wasn't the Congresswoman, but shock value! Giffords was a target-of-opportunity to make the story more attractive to the media!
So do me a favor. The TV networks will have nothing but this shooting for the next several days. It is up to YOU to make sure all America knows of the Massachusetts Supreme Court decision in Ibanez case and how it might affect their own foreclosures. Remember, the news it what affects YOUR life; everything else is a distraction. And right now the bankers are desperate to distract Americans from the Ibanez decision, lest identical lawsuits start appearing in the other 49 states! Trillions are on the line. TUCSON — Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and at least 17 others were shot Saturday morning when a gunman opened fire outside a Safeway supermarket where Giffords was meeting with constituents....
The shootings raised questions about potential political motives, though officials did not speculate about what might have provoked the attack. Nevertheless, there were immediate reverberations as Democrats decried the fierce partisan atmosphere in Giffords' district and top Republicans quickly condemned any outbreaks of violence....
The U.S. Capitol Police, which is investigating the shooting, cautioned lawmakers "to take reasonable and prudent precautions regarding their personal security."
Translation: ALL POLITICAL ELITES will NOW HAVE TAXPAYER-FUNDED PROTECTION.

At a news conference Saturday evening, Sheriff Dupnik said there was "some reason to believe" that the suspect in custody did not act alone. Officials said they were seeking a person of interest, a 50-year-old, white male....

Dupnik offered an emotional indictment of the state of political discourse.
"The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous. And unfortunately, I think Arizona has become sort of the capital, we have become the mecca for prejudice and bigotry," he said. "There's reason to believe that this individual might have a mental issue, and I think that people who are unbalanced might be especially susceptible to vitriol."

Richard Kastigar, a supervisor with the Sheriff's Department, said the gunman was 22. Investigators identified him as Jared Lee Loughner....
Police said the Giffords district office was evacuated late in the day after a suspicious package was found. Police later cleared the scene.

TUCSON, ARIZ.: U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and 18 others were shot just north of Tucson on Saturday morning when a gunman opened fire outside a supermarket where Giffords was meeting with constituents for a ''Congress on Your Corner'' event....
An official with the Pima County Sheriff's Department said six people had been killed, including a child about 9 years old and John M. Roll, the chief judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Roll had been involved in immigration cases and had previously received death threats....
Authorities said they were looking into whether the gunman acted alone and what his motives might have been in what they said evidence showed was a clear attempt to kill an elected official.
The shootings immediately raised questions about potential political motives, but officials did not speculate about what might have provoked the attack....
During the fall campaign, Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate, posted a controversial map on her Facebook page depicting spots where Democrats were running for re-election; those Democrats were noted by crosshairs symbols like those seen through the scope of a gun. Giffords was among those on Palin's map....
Giffords, who represents Arizona's 8th District in the southeastern corner of the state, has been an outspoken critic of Arizona's tough immigration law, which is focused on identifying, prosecuting and deporting illegal immigrants, and she had come under criticism for her vote in favor of the Democrats' health-care law. Friends said she had received threats over the years....
