"Woman arrested after chase on Pike
A Shrewsbury woman was arrested following a car chase by State Police with speeds up to 70 miles per hour Monday afternoon, a spokesman said. Troopers pursued Kimberly Baum, 22, after she made an unsafe lane change on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Brimfield, State Police spokesman David Procopio said. Troopers deployed tire deflation devices at the 56-mile mark on the Turnpike, causing three tires of the car to blow out, State Police said. Baum was charged with failure to stop for police, marked lanes violation, speeding, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle, Procopio said."
