Michaels Makes Hull Home a Hell

"Hull man arrested after home break-in" by Todd Feathers  |  Globe Correspondent, April 09, 2013

A Hull man was hit with more than a dozen charges Monday after authorities said he broke into a Kingsley Road home, attacked one of the residents, and threw a pregnant woman to the ground.

A not-guilty plea was entered on behalf of Brian P. Michaels, 44, at his arraignment Tuesday in Hingham District Court, prosecutors said....

Michaels reportedly told police that he had been dating the woman for four months and “just lost it” because he believed the man she was visiting had raped her, according to a Hull police report....

Hull police and state troopers were able to track Michaels because he was wearing a GPS tracking bracelet as a provision of his probation in a previous case, the report said.

While chasing Michaels, a trooper allegedly saw him discard an object inside a doghouse. When he returned to the doghouse, the trooper found a Beretta 9mm semiautomatic handgun, State Police said.

Now why am I incredulous regarding that?

Oh, right, Weiss's wisdom and the greater good!

Why did the word planted just come to mind?

State Police said troopers found Michaels trying to break into another home.

The two who were allegedly assaulted told police that Michaels had knocked on the door, barged past the woman, then kicked and punched the male resident, and threatened to kill him, the report said.

Why didn't he? He had a gun, right?

The male had bruises around his right eye and his lips, and the woman had red marks on her right arm where she said Michaels had grabbed her, the report said.

He was held without bail.

Yeah, the same reporter that brought me that story brought me another one that stinks like a cod.

Speaking of stink:

"Flooding at the wastewater treatment plant here forced officials to close local schools on Thursday, bring in emergency pumps, and send raw sewage into the Atlantic Ocean, state and town officials said."
