A Peaceful Breakfast

One reason being I missed it and didn't see much to eat when I looked at it. I know it's a new menu with different faces and I'm just not hungry for it.

"Peace Parade marchers hope for a unified event next year" by Zachary T. Sampson | Globe Correspondent   March 17, 2014

The South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade is organized by the Allied War Veterans Council, which has long turned away groups that wish to march espousing political causes. Sign-wielding participants in the Peace Parade included members of LGBTQ equality group Boston Pride, anti-drone activists, citizens against nuclear weapons, and some representatives from local churches.

They have taken over all those other movements (which are now highly suspect in my humble opinion) if the Globe's focus and coverage is any indication.

Carlos Arredondo, a hero of last year’s Marathon bombings, co-marshaled the procession this year along with his wife, Melida.

"Since the bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon, when Carlos Arredondo rushed from the VIP stands to clear barricades and make a tourniquet from a sweater sleeve that saved Jeff Bauman’s life, the 53-year-old has become the face of Boston Strong, seen by some as an almost mythic embodiment of courage in the face of terror. Already a public figure for more than a decade as the man who set himself ablaze after learning that his son was killed in Iraq and as a ubiquitous antiwar protester, he is now what some of his friends call Boston’s “comforter in chief.” It has become a full-time role, one that has brought celebrity and adoration, accolades, and perks both financial and emotional. Nearly every day since the attacks, Arredondo has been booked with public appearances."

Wow, isn't that really, really strange?

"The story told by Carlos Arredondo is a complete fabrication. Virtually every aspect of the tale he has told is demonstrably untrue and yet it has been readily accepted and repeated by the mainstream media."

Yes, who could ever believe what you are seeing on your TV (from 9/11 to Sandy Hook to chemical weapons use in Syria and even the fireworks) is all staged and scripted fakery

Now maybe you think I'm a lark of a conspiracy theorist, but I would advise you to look at links again.

“It’s an honor to be part of this amazing parade in South Boston and joining with hundreds of people from different communities and different backgrounds,” Arredondo said.

I'm SO SICK of CONTROLLED-OPPOSITION SLOP appearing in my agenda-pushing paper!

The Peace Parade marchers have walked for four years, said Pat Scanlon, coordinator for the Smedley D. Butler Brigade of Veterans For Peace, which runs the alternative event....

Do you know who Smedley Butler was? Globe doesn't get into it.

Of course the rest of the article focuses exclusively on the extreme gay agenda, if it can even be called that.

--more--"

Looks like it was the parade march was a bit cold yesterday and will be today, but what is making me frigid is the sick perversions and sexual shit that seems to dominate my newspaper day after day. Lost in it all is the St Patrick's part, although I suppose Boston is a different kind of city now. Across the pond it looks like the same old, same old according to my Globe, with the same problems as here.

I see some familiar faces in the crowd, but that's the wrong ethnicity, isn't it?

Ah, Irish, Italian, what's the difference? Both are subordinate now in the hierarchy of Boston's ethnic and religious groups. While on the matter I'm giving the boot to the reshuffling of deck chairs to reassure international bankers as well as the death of Durkin, sorry. That's enough knoxing around Italy for today.

Not looking forward to lunch.
