BROCKTON — A Brockton woman was identified Wednesday as the person who died Monday night after a tow truck backing into a garage drove over her.
Sebrena McLean was 54 years old, said Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz’s office, which is investigating the death. McLean was identified through the State Police fingerprint database, prosecutors said.
According to prosecutors, a tow truck driver was backing his vehicle into a garage located near the intersection of L Street and Frederick Douglass Way Monday night when he ran over McLean.
McLean was found near the right rear of the tow truck and was rushed to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Cruz’s office said.
The state medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death, prosecutors said. No charges have been filed in the case.
