The Big Boss Bosley

Imagine how I felt when I read this in my local:

"In June 2008, a bill was passed by the Legislature to invest $1 billion to boost the life sciences industry in the state. One section of the bill states that the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center must collaborate with Israel to establish a trade and incubator facility in Israel to foster collaboration between Mass., Israel and the Boston Haifa International Life Sciences Institute and other organizations working with Israel."

Yup, OUR TAX DOLLARS going to ISRAEL while OUR STATE IS RAPED!!!

Turns out the author of the provision is none author than Rep. Dan
BOSLEY who won an award from a Jewish group for it!!!

So what else is the Big Bos up to? My LOCAL ONCE AGAIN:

".... Committee assignments also included dropping Rep. Daniel Bosley, D-North Adams, as chair of the powerful Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies....

Bosley was named vice chair of the House Bonding, Capital, and State Assets Committee, which fellow legislators said will play a key role in seeing the state through its fiscal crisis and is an indication that his expertise is recognized by DeLeo despite losing the chairmanship of the economic development committee.

Oh, so now Bos is going to be in charge of PAYING OFF the BANKS and the DEBT, 'eh?

Bosley acknowledged that as an outspoken opponent of casino gambling, and someone who was not an early supporter of the new speaker, he was an obvious target for replacement. But he believes his new assignment puts him in a key role as a host of western Massachusetts capital projects that are tied to state bonds approved and scheduled by the Bonding, Capital and State Assets Committee."

So the Big Bos is going to be in charge of FLOATING MORE DEBT and BORROWING from BANKS while SELLING STATE ASSETS to ISRAEL, huh?

Finally, the Globe gets around to it (and none to happy 'bout it; what a
surprise):

"Speaker DeLeo: New boss, same as the old boss?

House Speaker Bob DeLeo sent a disappointing message with two of his recent leadership decisions. First, DeLeo opted to keep Representative Thomas Petrolati as House speaker pro tempore. The post, created by ex-speaker Sal DiMasi and awarded to his loyalist, is the legislative equivalent of a sixth wheel. Meanwhile, DeLeo demoted Representative Dan Bosley from the House chairmanship of Economic Development and Emerging Technologies to vice chairman of a low-level panel.

That's how the TAXPAYER GIVEAWAY to ISRAEL was written into the bill.
Guy is lucky he hasn't been tarred and feathered.

Bosley is smart, diligent, and well-regarded, but he was late to throw his support to DeLeo in the fight to succeed DiMasi.

Of course the Globe likes him; he's a fantastic servant to the Zionist state.

To bounce Bosley while retaining Petrolati suggests that for DeLeo, loyalty trumps talent.

Or maybe he's just sick of Jews having a choke-hold on this state.

--more--"

Notice the Globe mentioned NOTHING of his NEW POSITION? Why are they WHINING about the "demotion?"

Of course, the Big Bos also is given an OPS SPACE for an AGENDA-PUSH with MY STINK STATE SENATOR (I didn't vote for him; both Jewish, too)!!

"Stan Rosenberg and Daniel Bosley
A case for regional transit funds"

And WHAT ELSE is my GARBAGE SENATOR up to?

"Senator Stanley C. Rosenberg, Democrat of Amherst, is listed in official documents as bringing the amendment to the floor. But Rosenberg said in an interview that he did not author the amendment and does not know who did."

WTF?

Doesn't even know what is happening in his own committee -- or is he just lying?
