The Ole Sunday Switcheroo

This happened last week.

On the web, I found this:

"Opposition protests ending term limits

CARACAS - Tens of thousands of protesters marched in Caracas yesterday to oppose a constitutional amendment that could allow President Hugo Chavez to run for reelection indefinitely. The socialist leader is seeking to end term limits for all elected officials in a Feb. 15 referendum. His term is due to expire in 2012. Two years ago, voters refused to scrap term limits and expand Chavez's power, but polls show him picking up support this time. (AP)."

Problem was, I had a full article by Ian James.

So I typed it into the Boston Globe's search. Here's what came up
:

"Venezuelas to decide Chávez's future in referendum

So, WHAT GIVES, Globe? Why CENSOR and REMOVE the story? Could it be the UNBELIEVABLE BIAS and RANK PROPAGANDA of the piece?

"After 10 polarizing years in power, Chavez puts his own future to the Venezuelan people

GUATIRE, Venezuela (AP) — Ramshackle homes with dirt floors straddle the highway in the forested hills outside Venezuela's capital. So it was before Hugo Chavez came to power a decade ago, and so it is today.

A hand-lettered cardboard sign advertises the shack where Mateo Canache sells motor oil, homegrown bananas and live chickens to support his family. Canache says Chavez's socialist-inspired government has given him nothing — no loans to plant crops, no free health care and no state-subsidized food.

"The revolution doesn't work here," he said, watching cars pass by. But Canache is supporting Chavez in a Feb. 15 referendum that would let him seek re-election when his term expires in 2012 — and beyond.

Sigh.
Yeah, I've had it with the shit Jew journalism, yes sir!!!!

He sees others receiving government benefits, and hears Chavez on television handing out aid to farm workers and promising Venezuelans a safety net for years to come. He says Chavez is the first president he's ever believed in, the first who genuinely seems to be trying to help people like him.

"The only option is to stick with Chavez, because he's our hope and our future," said Canache, 50. After a decade in power, Chavez has polarized Venezuela's society, and polls suggest the race is tight....

Update:
Venezuelans vote to end term limits

Fuck you, you propagandistic piece of shit!!!!!!!!!!

Chavez has tried before and failed to remove limits on re-election in a broader 2007 vote, and although his poll numbers are slightly better this time, he has one less card to play. While Chavez has long cast himself as the only one who can save the region from a meddling United States, President Barack Obama has said he'd sit down with Chavez....

The former army paratroop commander used booming oil profits to nationalize companies and bankroll social programs that have boosted his popularity.

Of course, when U.S. leaders nationalize banks, etc, no problem. I mean, the RANK BIAS of the piece is stunning. Bush wasn't a military man, but he was worse than Chavez ever was.

The programs include benefits for single mothers, literacy classes and free medical clinics staffed by Cuban doctors. Chavez even built cable cars that soar up into Caracas' hillside slums.

No wonder the shit papers hate him!

Critics call it cheap handout populism, but by any account it has been wildly successful. Canache said he is convinced of Chavez's good intentions because some of his relatives received public housing, and because of a free university he hopes one day his 5-year-old daughter will attend....

Yeah, we could NEVER have that here in AmeriKa!! We gots to gives all the money to the rich and Israel!

Chavez has steadily solidified his power at home while leading a surge of new leftist leaders across Latin America in a crusade against U.S. influence.

How much more SLANTED BIAS can you stand, America?

His relations with the U.S. have grown increasingly hostile since a short-lived 2002 coup, in which the U.S. ambassador was one of only two to meet with the provisional president.

Yeah, if the U.S. tried to coup you, how would you feel? The STINK ELITE PAPER acts like there should be no hard feelings!! Yes, thank you for the anal raping, master, may I have another?! No need to be HOSTILE, right?

Is a VIOLENT COUP a HOSTILE MOVE, shit media?!!!!!!

The U.S. continues to be Venezuela's top oil client, but Chavez calls it "the empire" and kicked out the U.S. ambassador last year....

That's all my paper had, and I'm done with that atrocious "reporting." I may be done with papers from now on because of this shit!!

--more--"

Meanwhile, this next item was a brief in my paper; however, the web gave it full treatment in its "update."

"Ecuador's president orders expulsion of US diplomat; Envoy accused of suspending annual aid" by Gabriela Molina, Associated Press | February 8, 2009

QUITO, Ecuador - President Rafael Correa yesterday ordered the expulsion of a top US diplomat he accused of suspending $340,000 in annual aid because Ecuador would not allow the United States to veto appointments to the antismuggling police....

US-Ecuador relations have been warm.... with US diplomats praising Correa's cooperation in antinarcotics efforts even after he accused the CIA, without providing evidence, of paying Ecuadoran military officers for information.

Notice how the paper never needs evidence of "suiciders?"

They just report it as fact, no questions asked. But here.... pffft!

Correa has taken some tough stances in the past against what he has described as interference from other governments or foreign-owned companies. The US-educated economist and former college professor faces a reelection contest in April....

Correa said if Washington was going to insist on vetting Ecuadoran personnel, he would insist on the same for US Coast Guard pilots who land their planes on Ecuadoran territory after the lease runs out in November on the US antinarcotics base at Manta on the Pacific coast.

Hey, Israel vets ours.

Correa has refused to renegotiate a renewal of the lease on the Manta operation, the only such US base in South America.

That's the sticking pont (like in Central Asia): the MILITARY BASE! That's what is IMPORTANT!

Oh, and about that EVIL CHAVEZ who WON the VOTE!

"Local Venezuelans prepare for vote; Referendum will determine length of Chavez's rule" by Maria Sacchetti, Globe Staff | February 15, 2009

.... Chávez supporters pointed out that he is still widely popular in Venezuela for expanding healthcare and education to poor people across the country. And they say that generosity extends to Massachusetts and 22 other states, where Venezuela-owned Citgo donates heating oil to poor people through Joseph P. Kennedy II's Citizens Energy Corp.

Yes, I KNOW and I DON'T LIE TO YOU, readers!

Funny how CHAVEZ isn't THANKED BY US!!!

I don't see the BILLIONS-in-PROFIT oil companies helping us out!

But....

Yeah, it is a Jewish-controlled paper.

:0)
