AmeriKan Shooting Gallery

Before emptying the clip and moving on, consider:

"Before Recent Shootings, Gun-Control Support Was Fading

"It's almost eerie! Every time public support for guin bans drops, THERE IS A MASS SHOOTING! It's, it's, it's almost like these shootings are PLANNED to manufacture support for a pro-crime agenda! Wow! :) -- Wake the Flock Up

"Gun control support at all-time low The heavy coverage of mass shootings in Binghamton, N.Y., North Carolina and Washington state and the cop killings in Pittsburgh has had little apparent effect on the nation's appetite for new gun laws.

"Actually, the heavy coverage of mass shootings in Binghamton, N.Y., North Carolina and Washington state and the cop killings in Pittsburgh have only reinforced the understanding that the police rarely if ever show up in time to prevent a mass shooting (and even when they do show up they aren't very good). Americans are smart enough to understand that where citizens are armed, crime goes down. Every study confirms that over and over again. The only people who do not want an armed citizenry are criminals, and tax-happy politicians who know the American people are on the verge of the same riots we are seeing in the rest of the world." -- Wake the Flock Up

"Boom in Gun Sales Fueled by Politics and the Economy Why bear arms now? "The economy played a large part in my decision," says Baker, 27. "When people don't have jobs, they might go breaking into people's homes. I want to be safe in my home."

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." (Thomas Jefferson Papers p. 334, 1950)

"911 operator knew man in Pittsburgh case was armed" by Dan Nephin, Associated Press | April 8, 2009

PITTSBURGH - Three police officers killed while answering a call about a woman fighting with her son didn't know the man had weapons, but a 911 operator did. She just didn't tell anyone.

What?

The operator, who was hired in November, should have asked for more information and didn't relay even the basic information she had to police dispatchers, the official in charge of county dispatchers said. She is now on paid administrative leave and is receiving counseling because supervisors are concerned about her well-being....

Robert Full, Allegheny County Chief of Emergency Services, said the 911 operator is too distraught to be interviewed, so officials don't fully understand why she didn't press for more information about the guns. She apparently inferred the weapons weren't a factor because her conversation with the mother was casual and because Poplawski did not report being threatened, he said....

And yet they will call to take the "patriots" gun away, watch. First New York, now there!

"Man shoots 4 relatives, then himself in Ala." by Jay Reeves, Associated Press |
April 8, 2009

PRICEVILLE, Ala. - A man shot and killed his estranged wife, their teenage daughter, and two other relatives in rural north Alabama before returning to his home in a nearby town and killing himself the day before his divorce trial, authorities said yesterday....

It was one of eight mass shootings around the country in the last month that have left grief-stricken communities in shock. It's also the third mass killing in Alabama during that time. --more--"

Of course, they have all their reasons at the ready to sell you the plan.

"Traumatic events fuel killings, experts say; Economic fear called factor" by Philip Rucker, Washington Post |
April 8, 2009

WASHINGTON - In Binghamton, N.Y., a Vietnamese immigrant upset about losing his job burst into an immigration center and killed 13 people before killing himself.

In Pittsburgh, police said a gun enthusiast recently discharged from the Marine Corps opened fire and killed three police officers.

See above
.

And in Graham, Wash., investigators said a man whose wife was leaving him shot and killed five of his children in their mobile home before taking his own life.

From above.

The carnage that occurred in less than 48 hours last week capped a recent string of unusually brazen mass killings, which crime specialists say have touched more people and occurred in more public settings than in any time in recent memory.

And CUI BONO? WHAT AGENDA is ADVANCED?

Comparative statistics are difficult to come by, but during the past month alone, at least eight mass homicides in this country have claimed the lives of 57 people. Just Monday, four people were discovered shot to death in a home in a remote Alabama town. The factor underlying the violence, some specialists say, is the dismal state of the nation's economy.

Criminologists theorize that the epidemic of layoffs, the meltdown of storied American corporations, and the uncertainty of recovery have stoked fear, anxiety, and desperation across society, unnerving its most vulnerable and dangerous people.

So does SCREAMING "Al-CIA-Duh" and "terrorists" all the time!!!

Predictably
, the carnage has focused attention on the nation's gun laws....

With the MSM leading the prop-push!

The Rev. Jesse Jackson called the recent spate of killings "domestic terrorism" and said he hoped the slaughter would be a wake-up call for policymakers....

Oh, and that carpet-bagging, ambulance-chasing s***ter, too!

I'm having a HARD TIME getting my mind around the words "hope" and "slaughter" so close together in a sentence, folks!
