A Massachusetts Law I Like

Let the kid feed!!!!

"Law now protects breast-feeding mothers

Mothers who want to breast-feed their children in public are getting legal protection under a new state law that goes into effect today. The law was passed last year and signed earlier this year by Governor Deval Patrick. Previously, women who breast-fed their babies in public could have been prosecuted for indecent exposure or lewd conduct. If convicted, they could even have been forced to register as sex offenders, proponents of the bill said. The new law authorizes breast-feeding in public places and makes it clear it is not illegal."
